ABOUT Dream Catchers:
Dream catchers are one of the most fascinating traditions of Native Americans. The traditional dream catcher was intended to protect the sleeping individual from negative dreams, while letting positive dreams through. The positive dreams would slip through the hole in the center of the dream catcher, and glide down the feathers to the sleeping person below. The negative dreams would get caught up in the web, and expire when the first rays of the sun struck them.

The dream catcher has been a part of Native American culture for generations. One element of Native American dream catcher relates to the tradition of the hoop. Some Native Americans of North America held the hoop in the highest esteem, because it symbolized strength and unity. Many symbols started around the hoop, and one of these symbols is the dream catcher.

About

Beautiful Handcrafted Dream Catchers

Reina Dream Catchers was started in 2011 by San Diego native Kirra Reyna when she started hand making jewelry and dream catchers for friends. The demand of her unique, handcrafted product got larger each week so it only felt natural to expand the business. Reina Dream Catcehrs are now sold at a variety of stores and boutiques across the country!
Inspiration behind each dream catcher comes from a variety of different cultures. Kirra has designed our own modern version of the traditional Dream Catcher, hand picking every single string and bead that is a part of it. She also utilizes a variety of feathers across her line of dream catchers, making each piece truly unique and different from the next. The Western culture also has a big influence on all of her dream catcher designs. From charms to stones used at the center of each dream catcher, she loves the beautiful small details that go into the uniquely styled pieces. Kirra's goal at Reina Dream Catchers is to take something unique from a variety different cultures, combine them with today’s trends, and create a truly unique dream catcher that people are proud to display in either their home, office or car.
Her customer’s approval and satisfaction is her first priority. Please feel free to contact herwith any concerns or custom orders. She appreciates your business and hopes you love your product!
