This store is dedicated to the memory of Ginger, a dearly beloved tabby cat who passed away too soon. She was cut off from the chance to live out her golden years. The severe health issues that had developed in her harsh early life as a stray, became too much for her little soul to handle, despite all the medical help after she found me. But fortunately, before her time was up, she made it out of the cold, dark warehouse where she had been imprisoned and neglected. She never lost her sweet attitude, and found me when I was visiting a shelter, looking to adopt and care for a cat in need. I brought her home with me immediately, and gave her the care, attention and joy she always deserved. All her cuts and wounds healed up, she became bright-eyed again, and gave a love and trust back to me that was so warm, dear and wonderful. It was heartbreaking when it came her time to go, but at least it was in peace, knowing she was deeply loved, and with me, her loving devoted human, by her side. Even in her last struggle she was brave and positive, as if she were trying to comfort me. Her spirit, her vocal yapping, her sunny nature, will never be forgotten. In her memory, a portion of the proceeds from every item sold is donated to Stray Cat Alliance, a wonderful organization that helps thousands of cats who desperately need medical treatment, rehabilitation, and loving homes. It's been a while since she crossed the Rainbow Bridge, but even now, when things get a little quiet, I find myself remembering Ginger.
