Jonelle really went above and beyond for customizing this piece. It looks even better than in the photo, and now has the ability to be worn as a brooch as well as a necklace. More than satisfied.

About

just a quirky artist who loves to make neat things out of found objects and randomness!

I am an artist and collector of (too) many things, including vintage asian pieces from the 1950's, religious artifacts, unusual steampunk, gothic and voodoo curios, plus mechanical clockworks, tarot cards and strange winged relics. I like nag champa incense, gypsy caravans, mysticism, and Buddhist / Taoist philosophies. I also have a thing for (good) 80’s music, archery, converse, martial arts, vampires, and I have an alchemy styled tiki room in my house. I also really LOVE creating art!

My background started in fine art photography, and branched out to other art forms including painting, multimedia, graphic art and metal-smithing and I studied design when I lived in Sydney, Australia. All these aspects have influenced the pieces I create. My goal as an artist is to try and create something beautiful from the commonplace things in our every-day life. Plus, my passion for vintage means that I am always on the look out for nifty items from yesteryear to include in my inventory here as well.

Thank you for perusing my ‘shop’. I try to add new things daily so please come back often to see what new treasures I've found and what trinkets I've created. I love to hear from people, so feel free to drop me a line or...

the jewelry I make is carefully handmade and of my own design. Many are one-of-a-kind as they are crafted by upcycling antique relics and found items. I consider each piece to be a separate tiny 'work of art' and I won't sell it until it feels right.

Thank you for visiting my shop! I am an artist and collector of (too) many things, including vintage asian pieces from the 1950's, Catholic and Buddhist artifacts, unusual tiki and voodoo curios, plus mechanical clockworks, tarot cards and strange winged relics. I am also a fine art photographer, love painting and creating jewelry and art.

Oh, and I adore vintage clothing, jewelry and accessories! Everything from vintage polynesian dresses to flowing gauzy gypsy skirts. And from lace and velvet batcave, goth and steampunk styles to old western shirts and worn-out cowboy boots.

In my shop I will be selling a hodge-podge of unusual items including my hand-crafted steampunk, gothic and gypsy inspired jewelry, plus many of the antique wares, beautiful vintage dresses, purses and jewelry that I have found on my travels and my own fine art photography and design.

All of the jewelry I make is one-of-a-kind. I consider each piece to be a separate tiny 'work of art' and attention to detail is important to me. I won't sell it until it "feels" right. The elements I use to create them include antique clockwork pieces, vintage jewelry, relics and found objects. Each piece will be original and no two will look exactly the same. So if you see something you like, you might want to buy it now! ;o)

Thanks again for perusing my ‘shop’. I try to add new things daily...please come back often to see what new treasures I've found and what trinkets I've created...

Shipping
USA: Every item is shipped USPS First Class mail or priority mail depending on the weight. I have listed the estimated mailing/packing costs. If it is appreciably more I will bill you for the extra cost. If you need to upgrade shipping to expedite the delivery time or add insurance or for any other service please contact me and I will gladly bill you through PayPal for the difference. I will not ship until full payment has been received. I will then email you with the date it has been shipped and the delivery confirmation number. I cannot be responsible for loss or damage due to shipping. Insurance purchase is YOUR responsibility and at your request! Contact me please for additional costs.

EVERYWHERE ELSE: International shipping is complicated. At your expense I will gladly ship USPS as you request. All services are your responsibility. Contact me with what you want and I will quote you the shipping price. The most secure way to ship International is priority mail or registered mail with INSURANCE. Insurance gives you numbers to track. The purchase of Insurance and the Tracking of the package is YOUR responsibility. Since I cannot track items overseas, I am not responsible for your item once I mail it. Therefore, I am not responsible for 'lost items' and no refund will be given if your package does not arrive. I will happily provide a copy of the customs shipping notification to you if needed, so that you may contact your local customs office or post office to track down a lost package.

Most of my International orders have arrived within 2 weeks, but sometimes it can take 4 to 6 weeks depending on your country's customs regulations!

Customs, Impounding, Vat
I am NOT responsible for any extra fees or impounding from customs on INTERNATIONAL orders. I am also NOT responsible for any Taxes the package incurs due to your country's customs or Vat.

*****Insurance, tracking, Signatures are ALL YOUR responsibility once I ship*******
You may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you – I have no control over these charges.

Unfortunately, I can't mark a shipment as a gift. If I get caught I'm subject to a fine of $10,000, YIKES!
Refunds and Exchanges
At this time I am not accepting refunds or exchanges. This is a very small operation, and I do the absolute best I can in the accurate description, depiction, and sizing of items when applicable.

Remember vintage items are used items and thusly have some expected wear. :o) All sales are final unless item was grossly misrepresented within the posting. I do not accept returns for items that do not fit. Detailed and accurate measurements are provided on every item that is listed when applicable. It is the buyers responsibility to check the measurements and ensure it will fit properly.
Additional policies and FAQs
In regards to any vintage clothing or items I may list; vintage items have been previously worn, washed, mended, and loved. Many pieces are older than we are. Please expect that vintage clothes will not look like new. I try to inspect each item before listing but there are small flaws on every vintage garment. They are wearable pieces of history now, but they used to just be someone’s favorite outfit! Measurements are taken with the garment laid flat and should then doubled (except shoulder to shoulder and lengths), and should be considered approximate not exact. Please compare these measurements to clothing that fits you well rather than body measurements.
