Hello! I am Robin Arnold. I named my business, Replay by UYR to describe the handbags that I design. Each handbag is created from an idea found in a discarded piece of clothing, material, or scrap leather. From there it is turned into a one-of-a-kind handbag you can proudly carry and not have to worry about seeing it duplicated in a store window or on someone’s shoulder. Constructing one of my handbags allows me to release my creative side. It becomes my palette and my canvas. I have come a long way since designing my first handbag. Bringing leather and upholstery fabrics into the handbag design forced me to rethink my design process and handbag construction. I had to make changes, changes which have improved the quality of my design and ultimately my handbag. Today’s handbag offers the buyer a multitude of choices, designs, and even personalization. Importantly, nothing gets thrown away. Left over fabrics are given to craft quilters who use them to make quilts for missions. Each year my loyal customers check to see what Replay by UYR has brought to its handbag design. Many are adding lanyards, beads, buttons, insignias, and of course, this year’s color palette..
