I am a biologist by training and always had an interest in sustainability and in finding solutions to environmental issues. Fuelled by my love for all-things crafty, particularly knitting, I have amassed quite a substantial and diverse yarn stash throughout the years. Recently, I took the time to consider my choices and purchasing habits of times past. And I’ve found a correlation between the yarn I have enjoyed working with and its natural origin. This introspective journey – almost a self-assessment - has led me to this new adventure of trying to provide more natural materials, more sustainable products and to rely on nature to provide not only great fibers, but also lovely natural colours.
