About RetroBubbleGum

My take on retro doll fashions for Skipper, Blythe dolls and some other 11.5" dolls. My pieces are inspired from vintage doll patterns. I often will use vintage materials and/or accessories or items with a vintage feel. I love to sew in some of my spare time and all my items are sewn really well and I never release anything I don't try on my own dolls to make sure.

My father, a greatly experienced and professional tailor from Italy who taught me how to sew and some tricks of the trade too! I am so very grateful to him. He gave me my very first sewing machine too. A vintage 70s 427 Singer Zig Zag and straight sewing machine.

I also want to thank my awesome Grade 8 Home Economics teach for teaching me how to read patterns and sew things that include a shirt, a pillow, a baby mobile and a tote bag. She also taught me how to embroider, knit, crochet, cook a few Canadian meals and make a really mean cup of hot coco too! lol

Materials used range from delicate cottons, vintage materials, linens, lace, pom poms, wood buttons, bright fabrics that may shrink or color(s) may run if washed or if not washed properly, etc. so please handle with care and if you must wash it then please consider using a damp cloth or cold water by hand, with a gentle laundry soap, cold water rinse and air dry only.

If you are not happy with your item in any way after you receive your item(s) then please feel free to let me know and we can discuss so I can work it out with you. I have been in the hobby since early 2000 and have a perfect buying, selling and trade record.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you follow my shop, maybe favorite an item or two or even buy some of my cute, retro and affordable fashions!
