Each monoprint comes out completely different- this one with sparks of mustard ink for a one-of-a-kind piece.
My print has been carefully enhanced with freehand quilting (sewing) in teal, by Briana from the Etsy shop: Btaylorquilts. Love it!!

About

Modern Linocut made by hand-carving and hand pulling each creation.

As soon as I started to carve into the linoleum, I was instantly brought back to my childhood. My dad would hand carve each mold for his custom jewelry. He would cast the gold by hand into each mold. Then fire the kiln. I watched him every day after school at his shop. Creating, carving, casting, polishing, setting stones.....

Carving is so natural and easy for me. My entire life my dad has wanted me to take over the family business. It wasn't in my heart. Carving and creating modern art is.

I love modern art. The mix of modern art with it's bright colors and designs and the natural movements of the ink splattering over the print. Every single one comes out uniquely one of a kind. I hope that you can also see where my passion for modern art and design mixes with old-fashioned print making using a hand press.

When I am not creating art, you can find me chasing my three children around, playing in the park, swimming, gardening, collecting jeans, and spending time with my husband.

I am one of those people who HATE to wait long for things that I have ordered to arrive in the mail. I want it the same day I order it. I know that it's not possible or realistic, but I do my best to ship the orders I receive within five days to you so that you can get them as quickly as possible. I don't want you to have to wait any longer than necessary. As soon as your print is pulled and the ink dries, it is out in the mail.

I currently ship within the US and abroad. I package your artwork very carefully to assure you receive it in the manner intended. Your art piece will be shipped via USPS mail. It will be wrapped and secure when you receive it with cardboard protecting it on all sides.

**If you want even quicker service, I can ship priority mail, too. Just let me know ahead of time and I will adjust the shipping cost for you.**
