This item arrived quickly in beautiful condition. The camera is clean and works well. I've taken a few pictures (after re-rolling some 120 film onto 620 spools), and can't wait to see the prints. Thank you!

I just listed an Argus C forty-four 35mm camera. It is an all manual rangefinder from the mid 1950's and is in fantastic shape. Film tested and working. Ready for someone to make some great pictures!
Just listed this beautiful Olympus Stylus, along with other 35mm and instant cameras today!
Just added this beautiful Kodak Brownie Bullet to the shop. In fantastic shape with the original manual!

About

Old school traditional photographer in a digital world.

My story:

I was fortunate enough to be a professional photographer as we transitioned from film to the digital age. I did it as a photojournalist no less. In a few quick years we went from shooting film and printing in the darkroom, scanning negs to shooting on digital DLR's.

Somewhere in the mix when photography went from chemicals and hands on processing to memory cards and Photoshop, I feel like the medium as a whole lost some of the mystique and craftsmanship.

I still shoot film. I use older mechanical cameras and enjoy the slower pace and sense of accomplishment. I also collect cameras and camera related items. I rescue some of them from certain death, or uncover a hidden treasure at a second hand store. Old cameras are unique and they tell a story all their own. I offer these findings to you so you can share in the mystique and nostalgia of photography days of yore.

I am a photographer that likes to shoot with analog cameras. I also make funky pinhole cameras and shoot with wet plate collodion. I've been collecting cameras for some time, and enjoy sharing my finds with all of you!
