Welcome to Retro Violet! We're happy you found us!

Retro Violet is a small company based in Brighton, UK and launched in Autumn 2011.
All jewellery is uniquely designed by Emily Bower using digital techniques combined with hand-made/hand-built elements.

We love all things RETRO and VINTAGE! This is our inspiration! Looking back at glamorous or avant garde eras in the past, we revive old photos and postcards to create little treasures that can be loved and worn as beautiful keepsakes.

We hope you love our little treasures too! Wear them with a smile and a glint in your eye ;)

I accept payment by PayPal, UK cheque, bank transfers or Etsy direct check out.

You can choose the PayPal Option during checkout. After you submit your order click the “Pay Now” button. Scroll Down and you will see the option to pay with a Credit or Debit Card WITHOUT having to sign up for a PayPal account.

If you are having any issues with PayPal or Etsy Direct Check-Out, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will assist you in anyway that I can.

Payment must be made in full and have cleared before the item is shipped.
Orders under $75 are shipped Royal Mail first class, orders above $75 are sent Recorded, tracked and require a signature, this applies worldwide.
If you need your order in a hurry, you may be able to upgrade shipping at an addition cost. Please convo me if you require this service.

Orders are shipped as soon as possible after payment receipt. Once payment is received you may not cancel your order unless agreed mutually.

International shipping: Buyer is responsible for all customs fees and taxes. Please remember that delivery time for orders outside the United Kingdom will vary depending on customs handling.

All orders are shipped in an organza or decorative bag ready to give as a gift. Envelopes are bubble wrapped to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

If your Paypal checkout and Etsy order address are different, I will always ship to the Etsy address unless you provide a note to seller stating otherwise. .

If your order is a gift going directly to the recipient, I can include a personal message card from you for no extra charge. If you would like this service please let me know what you would like me to write (to fit on a postcard) in the "message to seller" during checkout.
Refunds and Exchanges
Please contact me directly if an item arrives damaged or does not arrive at all.
Please allow up to 20 working days for US mail non tracked as this is the minimum amount of days needed before UK mail will allow a claim to be made.

If you are unhappy with your order for any reason please contact me within 5 working days of receiving your package. I will do my best to resolve the problem quickly.

Refunds and exchanges are considered on a case-by-case basis. If an item is accepted for return or replacement, return shipping will be the buyer's responsibility. Refunds are less shipping and handling charges.

Please note:
Customers have 1 week from date of delivery to change their mind about their purchase for a full refund.

If an item you receive is faulty you have 4 weeks from the date of delivery to return said item for a full refund and 6 months for any item that needs repairing or replacing.

Proper care is always taken to ship your order to arrive safely. I am unable to accept returns for items damaged in transit.
