Reverie Hill - Wishing you a great daydream. May you get happily lost in your thoughts.

Hello, my name is Hilary and I am the artist behind Reverie Hill. You can find my maker Instagram account @thepathologicalcrafter to see behind the scenes of what I’m up to making at the moment. I’ve been asked many times if the name 'Reverie Hill' has anything to do with my personal name: 'Hil'ary ~ Reverie 'Hill'. The answer is no, and I realize that perhaps the name Reverie Hill warrants some explanation.

The name 'Reverie Hill' was born out of the idea that many of us have a basic need to get lost in our thoughts. It's a means to thoughtfully process the life we have and creatively engage with it. I’m currently a working Mom and this is my side hustle that I’d like to one day make my full hustle. Before marriage and having my son, I would often escape to the nearby plateau in my home-town (that my logo is designed after) to be alone with my thoughts and hike. I would hike for miles and see oak trees, wildflowers and newts. I would hike out to the first waterfall and sit in silence looking out at all that was below. I would climb down and hike to the second waterfall where there were pools soo deep I could dive in headfirst without any chance of hitting the bottom. I would get lost in my thoughts and in the beauty that surrounded me and feel inspired about life with all its possibilities.

During weeks when I couldn't make the trek up to the plateau, it was time to live out those quiet thoughts of what makes me tick, thrive and flourish. I’ve always found joy in making wearable art and getting dressed up for a night on the town. Feeling alive in these ways connected me to the excitement of living life to the fullest wherever I may be. Now that I’m a Mom this is still a part of what makes me flourish and I’m still daydreaming of more wearable art projects to create each day. You’ve found my nook of Etsy where I offer them up for those who connect with what I make.

The name 'Reverie Hill' is a tribute to my favorite hometown hiking refuge with its prominent lonesome oak tree; the place I could take the time to re-focus and really think how I want to live. The eclectic tastes I've acquired through the years combined with my passion to create have come together to produce Reverie Hill. It’s for all those who seek to embrace life to its fullest, wearing clothing and accessories that reflect their vibrant flare with the guiltless feeling of having supported an artist who’s heart is lifted with every sale because someone connected with the work of my hands. For all these reasons a healthy dose of daydreaming will always be supported here at Reverie Hill and I hope you always feel free to do so.

Frequently asked questions
Care instructions

Concerning the ceramic rings I make, they can break but I wouldn’t say they are fragile. I’ve been wearing the same one for months with no problems. That said, be careful not to smack them down on hard surfaces or clap them up against a metal ring too hard (the metal or hard surface might win the battle).

Also, the 22k gold accents applied are a thin coat that may wear off over time where it is rubbed frequently; much like brass statues at the park. This normally happens on the sides of the band which rub against fingers in constant use. (To really prolong the life of the 22k gold accents, wear your favorite ceramic ring sparingly for special occasions.)

Custom and personalized orders

I only accept two custom orders at a time and unless extraordinarily extravagant, the pricing is as follows:

**$20 for basic 4 stone setting custom ring (This price includes the $5 custom fee.)

**$25 for specialty stone setting custom ring
(This price includes the $5 custom fee.)

To order custom, direct message me your idea and if I’m not already booked up on custom orders I like to look through any sketches or inspiration pictures you might have and once we’ve worked out the details I begin working on the piece. It can take up to two weeks to complete and ship it out as the handmade process includes: sculpting, drying, first fire, painting, second fire, cleaning, sanding, painting, third fire and setting in the rhinestones in.

If you’re not sure on ring size and fit, I have a free printable PDF ring sizer available through the link in my Instagram bio @thepathologicalcrafter
