About

Modern Prairie style from up-cycled materials

I have been making a living off of up cycled fashion for the past 8 years. I started designing and making clothes long before that and decided to go to FIT in New York in 2003. It was in the garment district that I discovered tons of excess fabric being thrown away. After making things from these discarded materials, I went to New Orleans to aid with Katrina relief. Once again, I started making clothes from all of the excess materials that couldn't be used. When I moved to Eugene, I co-founded Eugene Fashion Week and opened a retail and local designer boutique. It was a community space where seamstresses had studios and worked in the shop. When I sold the store, I opened a garment manufacturing house. Throughout the time I ran these businesses, I was making my line part time. In 2015, I decided to put aside all other projects to focus solely on my clothing line, so here I go!

I recently moved to Montana from Oregon with my dog, Bailey Sue. We both feel so blessed to be here. Fun fact-I have a tattoo of a clothes hanger on my neck and shoulders. How's that for dedication?
