Sono una ragazza della California del Sud nata e cresciuta nel cuore di Los Angeles. Ho un marito solidale che di solito aiuta a scattare le mie foto. Abbiamo un adorabile maltese, di nome Rex, che ha ispirato il nome del nostro negozio. Dopo aver adottato un secondo furbaby, abbiamo deciso di staccare la spina e rebrandizzare.

Ho iniziato a creare quando ho imparato a lavorare all'uncinetto all'inizio del 2017. Dopo questo, ho iniziato a sperimentare con i modelli all'uncinetto e ho iniziato a fare stivaletti per cani che sono diventati famosi su un articolo di Buzzfeed. Il nostro negozio inizialmente si è concentrato su accessori per animali domestici tra cui bandane e stivaletti.

Circa un anno dopo, nell'aprile 2018, la mia salute mentale ha toccato il fondo. Durante il processo di guarigione, ho assunto più hobby e quindi ho continuato a creare solo per scoprire che le mie possibilità erano davvero infinite. Ho iniziato a fare all'uncinetto tutti i tipi di oggetti, riproponendo vecchi libri per bambini, fatto orecchie e deciso di portare collari per animali domestici.

Col passare del tempo, ho persino imparato a cucire. Ora sto facendo fasce, scrunchies e tutti i tipi di accessori. Sono un fanatico di tutto ciò che è fatto a mano e mi sto davvero divertendo a dimostrare il mio lato creativo.

Welcome to Magic Stitches Company, formerly known as Rex’s Creativity! Thank you for stopping by and reading about us.

I am a Southern California gal born and raised in the heart of Los Angeles. I have a supportive husband who usually helps take my pictures. We have an adorable maltese, named Rex, who inspired our shop’s first name. Upon adopting a second furbaby, we decided to pull the plug and rebrand.

I first began crafting when I learned to crochet in early 2017. After this, I began experimenting with crochet patterns and started making doggie booties that became famous on a Buzzfeed article. Our shop initially focused on pet accessories including bandanas and booties.

About a year later, on April 2018, my mental health hit rock bottom. During the healing process, I took on more hobbies and therefore continued creating only to discover my possibilities were truly endless. I began making crocheting all sorts of items, repurposing old children's books, made ears, and decided to carry pet collars.

As time passed, I even learned to sew. Now, I am making headbands, scrunchies, and all sorts of accessories. I'm a sucker for all things handmade and I am truly enjoying demonstrating my creative side.
