About RhythmKnits
Find Your Rhythm!
Yvonne Goodwin here! Thanks for visiting the shop and/or purchasing one of my handcrafted colorways!
On a lazy Saturday in November 2016, while experimenting with colors and listening to Eric Clapton's rendition of "I Shot the Sheriff," my husband walked in on me dancing, laughed, and said, "You should name your company Rhythmless Knits because you have two left feet." I'd been thinking of a company name for a few weeks and until that day, nothing stuck. Much to my husband's dismay, I took off "less" and Rhythm Knits was born.
Introverted and creative, I'm always looking for new things to do to keep myself entertained. I'm a knitter. I'm a freelance editor. I'm an indie dyer. These endeavors feed my soul, so in conjunction with that little thing called life, lending time to each project without getting overwhelmed is very important, and sometimes, not so easy. So I find a rhythm that works for me.
If I'm having trouble with a knitting pattern, I set it aside and spin (fiber) for a bit.
If I'm on an editing deadline and losing steam, I take a twenty-minute nap.
If I need to fulfill a custom yarn order or update my shop but I'm drawing a blank on inspiration, I blast Pandora, shuffle my two left feet, and make a meal.
Before I know it, I've gotten back to that knitting pattern, met my editing quota for the day, or crafted colorways that are drying on the racks. Life is a balancing act and sometimes we all just need to sign off from the world for a bit in order to regroup so that we can tackle the tasks at hand with more gusto.
So what's your rhythm?
I hope that with one (or many!) of my handcrafted colorways and the right knitting or crochet pattern, you can find your rhythm, sign off from the world for a bit, and craft for hours without a care in the world!
All items are ready to ship; I hope you enjoy working with my colorways as much as I enjoyed dyeing them!
Happy crafting!

Please hand wash your finished product separately in cold water.
I have pet allergies. Are your yarns dyed with pets around?
While I absolutely LOVE animals, all of my yarns are dyed in a pet-free home.
What type of dye do you use?
All of my yarns are dyed using professional acid dyes. While I capture all skeins so that colors are as true as possible, colors may vary due to phone or computer screens.
I rinse each hank until the water runs clear, but due to differences in water chemistry, some bleeding may occur during the first wash.
I want to make something that requires more yarn than you have stocked. What should I do?
Send me a message! Just about all of my colorways are repeatable and I can dye up a few more skeins of a specific colorway for your project.
