I'm delighted with this yarn. It arrived safe and fast, smooth transaction. If you've ever ordered yarn from a small farm and/or small mill before, then you know how valuable these next words are. This yarn is clean, no debris, no lanolin/grease, no tangles in the skeins and *No* funky smells. I waited to write this review until I had started a project...which means I also ripped some project lol. You can't tell at all, this stuff is going to wear like iron and your garment is going to survive you. It swatched up at exactly 20 stitches for 4 inches on #7s (that's 20 stitches for 10 cms on 4.5mm needles)

I knit a sweater out of the dark brown wool sold by Ridgedale Farms and I can't seem to leave a review for it. Maybe because I purchased it too long ago. I made a sweater out of it and it is wonderfully soft and not itchy. I will put the photo here.
