Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by. I started Riley K Designs back in 2014 after my daughter was born to bring in some additional income, and be able to have more time home with her. I started off with creating digital invitations but slowly realized that it wasn't what I really wanted to do. I would find myself admiring vinyl shops and decided to teach myself everything there was to know about vinyl and starting a vinyl business. I officially started selling vinyl wall decals in 2016 and have never looked back since. I absolutely love being able to make beautiful wall art that can completely transform the look of a room and give it an entirely new vibe. My daughter gave me inspiration for my shop name and she continues to give me inspiration every single day to better myself and my shop. I am so thankful for my customers and look forward to helping you create new looks for your space!

What type of surfaces does your vinyl work on?
Decals are NOT recommended to use on walls with Zero VOC or Free VOC Paint, environmentally friendly “Green” paints, glossy paint, textured walls, freshly painted walls. Allow a minimum of 6 weeks for paint to cure, prior to installing vinyl decals. If you love our
decals but your walls don't, think about applying our decals to glass or mirrors.
If you are not sure if our decals will stick, please contact us for a tester sample to see if our decals adhere to your surface.
When you order, please be ready to install your decal within a few weeks. I do not recommend waiting longer after your order is received.
Do large decals come on one large sheet or in sections?
Most large decals will come in separate sections, which will make it easier for installation, and also give you the option to space out the decal to your liking. If you are concerned with how your decal will come, please message us so that we can give you specific details for your order.
Decals larger than 12” x 9” will come rolled up. Before decals can be applied, they need to be unrolled. Once they are unrolled, place flat/heavy objects over decals overnight to get out any creases/air bubbles that may have formed during transit. The next day, you can smooth over the top transfer paper and decals will be flattened and ready to apply. Detailed instructions are provided with each order.
Are Vinyl Decals easy to install?
Vinyl Decals, especially larger ones, take patience. All orders will include instructions on how to apply. If you have never applied vinyl before, I highly suggest searching google for how to apply wall vinyl decals.
Rushing through installing vinyl can result in ruining your vinyl, which is at no fault of the seller. Please be sure to read all instructions prior to attempting to install, and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
Vinyl Decals are easy to apply and remove, however once removed, they are not reusable.
My Order hasn't arrived but says delivered. What do I do?
USPS is responsible for delivering our packages. While it is rare, packages do get lost sometimes. Once an order is dropped off, it is out of our hands. Because of this, we do not know any more information that what the tracking shows us. Double check with your neighbors and contact your local post office to see if they marked it delivered by mistake. Make sure to give them your tracking number when you call. We cannot replace your order without official USPS notice of the package being lost/damaged or a police report for a stolen package. No exceptions.
Can I request a different size decal or color if it is not listed?
Yes! We love custom orders! If you love the design, but don't see the size you need message us for a custom order. If you are looking for a different color, other than what is listed, 99% of the time we can get it. However, this may add a couple extra days of a wait period before your item ships out.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Every listing has a section under shipping & policies, that show the expected timeframe in which your order will ship. If you need your item rushed, please message me to ensure it can be done.
Do you accept returns?
Since all of our items are custom made, we do not accept returns. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you.
If you applied your decal incorrectly or want a color change, I can provide you with an additional discount to order a replacement.
What type of Vinyl do you use?
We use Oracal 631 and 651 for all of our decals. Oracal 631 has a matte finish, mainly used for indoor use, but has the durability of lasting up to 3 years outdoors. Oracal 651 has a glossy finish and is a more permanent adhesive vinyl, with the durability of lasting up to 6 years outdoors or on items that you are looking to keep a long lasting decal on. Oracal 651 is what we use for our laptop decals as well.
For heat transfer vinyls, we use Siser heat transfer vinyl.
What do I need to install my vinyl decal?
Here are some of the things you will need to install vinyl decals:
- a damp cloth
- a tape measure or ruler for larger decals
- Application Tool or credit card for easy installation
- Painters tape or masking tape for larger decals
Every decal will receive a list of instructions. If you are confused or are still unsure on what to do, please contact us!
