About the Artist

Rima Tessman's paintings use a combination of abstract marks with stylized organic forms in acrylic, gouache, charcoal, and the occasional oil pastel. Her multi layered works, in which colors swish, blend and swirl, where vaguely anthropomorphic forms silently communicate, and where marks and icons are hidden, then uncovered, then hidden again, reflect a lifelong obsession with the unseen world that manifests itself through intuition, signs, symbols and emotions.

Rima lives just outside of Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and two children and works from her spacious home studio.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
My products are carefully packaged for safe transit, but if you have any issues or concerns with the state of your order upon arrival, please contact me immediately so we can work out a solution. If you have any other questions or concerns about your order when it is received, please also contact me immediately. I want you to be happy with your purchase! If a solution cannot be negotiated, refunds/exchanges are available within 14 days after receipt of the product. You will be responible for shipping costs and for returning the items to me in their original condition.
I accept PayPal and major credit cards. Please be aware that you do not need to have a PayPal account in order to make a PayPal payment. When you check out, just click the "pay by PayPal" option and follow the instructions.

Products will be shipped after payment is received. If payment hasn't been received within 7 days of order placement, I will communicate with you before canceling the order.
All orders are shipped via USPS First Class mail to the address listed on your Etsy order (not the PayPal address). You will receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped, which will be within three business days after payment has been received.

All my prints and cards are sealed in a acid-free sleeve and shipped in a rigid, flat envelope. Larger prints are shipped in a tube.

Please contact me before ordering if you would prefer your item to ship by a different method and I will adjust your charges. If you would like additional shipping features such as insurance or a tracking number, please condo me first!

I am not responsible for merchandise that is lost or damaged during shipping. An item will be considered lost if it is not received within six weeks of the shipment date.
