Creating Happiness!
For as long as I can remember, my mind and hands have been busy creating, gluing, cutting, and coloring. Growing up in Western PA, I was fortunate to have a neighbor teach me various crafts and a family to encourage my creativity.
I started creating jewelry about 20 years ago as a simple weekend hobby and began selling and gifting pieces to family and friends. I set it all aside when life became too busy, but I held on to the supplies...just in case. The creativity bug hit me again in 2011, so I pulled out the craft bins, perused my design books, and, after lots of encouragement from my husband, opened my Etsy shop.
My creative style isn't the best fit for an organized person. I pull out many supplies, placing small piles on my work table while working on other projects. I look everything over multiple times to see what design or combination may come to mind and then go from there. I genuinely enjoy challenging myself when designing new things or attempting new processes. Creating is a calming and gratifying experience; I can't imagine it without it.
My products are and will always be handmade by me in a pet-friendly, smoke-free home. I also take my pictures in natural light - even here in the Pacific Northwest! :-)
