Thank you for visiting Ring of Wire! If you have any questions about my listings, please let me know. Each item is hand-crafted by me from both new and old objects as well as re-purposed materials and findings.
Please note that my jewelry and accessories are created for adults as many items have small, delicate pieces not suitable for children.
Payment must be received and cleared before I can ship your item. I accept payments via Paypal, Etsy Direct Checkout or Etsy Gift Certificate. You do not need a Paypal account to pay by credit card. Click on this link to find out how: http://www.etsy.com/help/article/361
Shipments are made to your ETSY address. Please make sure this address is current and correct. If an alternate shipping address is needed, please let me know. If you would like to use a faster shipping method than what I have noted below, send me a note in the Message to Seller section and I’ll happily accommodate your needs and send you an invoice for the price difference.
Within the U.S., all purchases are shipped via USPS Priority Flat Rate shipping with free Delivery Confirmation and Insurance. Normally, I will send ready-to-ship items within 1-3 days of payment receipt and clearance. If you have a custom order, the shipping time frame may be different so I will communicate with you to let you know when your item will be sent.
IMPORTANT: There are no extra shipping charges added for additional items purchased in the same order as long **as all fit within the same flat rate box**. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding large quantity orders requiring me to upgrade the size of the shipping box as additional charges may apply.
NOTE: The USPS had a rate increase of around the 60%+ range on 1/27/13 which is why there has been an increase in my international shipping rates.
All International orders are sent via USPS First Class International Mail. Normally, I will send ready-to-ship items within 1-3 days of payment receipt and clearance. If you have a custom order, the shipping time frame may be different so I will communicate with you to let you know when your item will be sent.
Delivery Confirmation is now included for First Class Package International Service, and Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope and Small Flat Rate Box shipments going to the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil*, Canada, Croatia, Denmark*, Estonia, Finland, France*, Germany, Gibraltar*, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Israel, Italy*, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg*, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal*, Singapore, Spain and Switzerland.

Allow 2 to 6 weeks for arrival of your item; in some areas, this may take even longer. Please do not ask that your merchandise be marked as a 'gift' on the customs form. It cannot be done. A false, misleading, or incomplete declaration can result in the seizure or return of the item and/or in criminal or civil penalties for the seller AND the buyer.
Some countries will apply additional customs fees/taxes/handling charges on imported packages, depending on your country’s import limits. If your payment for shipping exceeds the amount I actually paid, I will refund you the difference if it is more than $1 USD.
*Please note that I will follow all applicable United States laws relative to trade restrictions, sanctions, and embargoes. At this time shipment is prohibited to Iran, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Burma, North Korea, and Cuba.
I will keep you updated on when your item(s) will ship and also send you tracking details. If you do not receive your package in a reasonable amount of time, please track the package (Domestic orders can be completely tracked, International can only be tracked to the point where it leaves the US for countries not listed above). If nothing shows on the tracking, contact me and I will work with you to resolve any issues.
Refunds and Exchanges
More than anything I want you to be happy with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied (item isn't what you expected, doesn't match item description or was damaged in shipping), please contact me prior to leaving feedback. Each return is handled on a case-by-case basis.
If your package arrives damaged:
- Please take a picture of it before opening.
- Once the package is open verify the condition of your item(s).
- If your item(s) are damaged, take another picture so I can see the damages.
- Send me an email with those pictures within 3 days of receiving your package and I will follow-up with next steps.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase:
Please contact me via email or convo on Etsy so that I can work on the issue. If I cannot fix the issue, the item(s) must be returned within 7 days of receipt in the same condition it was received and in the original packaging. If you don't have the original packaging, wrap the item securely in tissue paper or bubble paper and return. If the item arrives broken due to poor packaging I won't be able to issue a full refund. Once received, I will refund your purchase amount minus the original shipping charge. Cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer and the package must be sent with Delivery Confirmation.
Refunds are processed through the same way you purchased your order. They are processed immediately when using PayPal, but keep in mind that credit cards and bank debit cards have differing time frames as to how long it takes for them to apply the refund to your account. Please check directly with them if you have any timing concerns.
CUSTOM ORDERS: Returns for custom orders are also handled on a case-by-case basis. A few items can be cleaned and/ or re-purposed for resale, but in most cases, I will not be able to issue a refund due to uncommon (re)sizing and/or personalization as I can't resale these types of items.
If your item should ever need any repairs, please contact me to discuss options as I may be able to help you out. Any shipping charges to return the item to me will be paid by the buyer.
For hygienic purposes, all earrings are non-refundable/non-returnable. This also includes custom order earrings.
Additional Policies and FAQs
All items are made in a smoke-free environment. I do live in a pet friendly home and do my best to keep the 2 cats away from all of my supplies. All items, as well as completed pieces, are kept in storage containers and cabinets, but I cannot guarantee that everything is pet allergen free. I take all my photos in natural light to capture the best, true color of the item. However, please note that every computer monitor is different so there may be some slight color variation(s).
Proper care and storage of any type of jewelry or accessory will help prolong the life and maintain the beauty of your piece.
RINGS: Most rings can be rewired to any size from 1 to 14 at no additional charge, but please note that that doing so may slightly change the appearance of the item as it's currently depicted in the photos. Any rings that can not be resized are noted as such in the product's description section.
If you are unsure of your ring size, there are several websites that will help you determine your size or you can also stop by any jeweler and most will size your finger for free. Should your ring arrive and not be sized properly, please contact me. Most can be quickly resized whereas custom requests may take some time. The only cost to you would be for shipping.
I do use a number of vintage/antique buttons for the rings so I would advise removing the ring before getting your hands/fingers wet. This will maintain the beauty and look of your ring. I do also use mainly 'plated' (gold, silver...) materials that may alter in color with wear and general environmental substances.
GLASS PENDANTS: All pendants are water-resistant but not water proof. Please remove before swimming or bathing.
EARRINGS: For hygienic purposes, all earrings are non-refundable/non-returnable.
