Welcome to River Rat Outfitters — a brand inspired by the people, places, and memories made along the Mighty Mississippi.
River Rat Outfitters was created from a love of river life — summer nights on the water, fishing trips, sandbars, boats passing by, beautiful sunsets, small river towns, and all those moments that make life along the Mississippi special.
Many of our designs are inspired by real places and real photographs taken along the Mississippi River and transformed into vintage-style artwork. And you’ll probably notice Paulie, our resident River Rat, making his way into plenty of them. Whether he’s fishing, boating, floating, or simply watching the river go by, Paulie represents the laid-back spirit of river life.
Our goal is to create apparel and goods that feel like more than just souvenirs. They’re for the people who grew up along the river, spend their summers on it, travel it, work on it, fish it, or simply feel most at home when they’re near the water.
