Frequently asked questions
Dried flowers what to expect:
Colors of flowers may vary due to the nature of monitors, dried flowers and seasons.
All items are carefully secured and padded in the shipping box to maximize safe arrival. However due to the delicate nature of dried flowers, some petal loss and shedding is inevitable and will occur during shipping. This is normal for any dried flowers.
If you are arranging or crafting with your flowers I highly recommend placing them in the refrigerator for 24 hours, this allows them to "hydrate" a bit so them are easier to work with.
Shipping & shipping insurance
When choosing shipping first class shipping is not insured via USPS. If you feel shipping insurance may be needed I recommend choosing priority shipping at checkout.
Listings that include free shipping do include shipping insurance.
How long will my flowers last?
How long your flowers last depend greatly on humidity and exposure to sunlight. Areas of high humidity or direct light will decrease the life of dried flowers That said dried flowers can last a very long time, I have a wreath in my craft room that is 5 years old.
Method of drying
Our flowers are dried naturally without harsh chemicals or preservatives.
Processing of refunds for insured items
If your package has insurance photos of the damaged item, photos of the shipping box and photos of the shipping label are required to process insurance claims. Once a claim is started please keep the damaged item for 14 business days in case any additional information is required. At that time the item can be discarded.
Sizing details
Wreaths are measured at their widest point/width. Since they are a natural product this will vary slightly. Large wreaths fit into a 16x16 box, smaller & asymmetrical wreaths fit inside a 12x12 inch box.
Availability
Flowers used in our wreaths and bouquets are grown at our Farmette in Washington. Availability changes throughout the year depending on what is growing and what is drying. We are always adding new items to our shop with the biggest re-stocks happening in the fall.
Wreath Unboxing
Wreaths are shipped in brown cardboard boxes to protect them during shipping. The wreath is secured to the bottom of the box with wire ties to prevent movement during shipping.
When you receive your wreath carefully untwist or cut the wire ties, they are very thin any scissor or nail clipper can be used.
Once the wire ties have been released, gently remove the wreath from the box. Each wreath is made with naturally dried plant materials and should be handled carefully.
Some of the materials may shed in transit. This is absolutely normal! Wreaths are built and designed so that the loss of small pieces will not change the overall appearance.
