When I was in college, I loved shopping for vintage clothes because I wanted a unique look for less $. One of my favorite clothing shops also had vintage crystal and glassware, and I decided that I wanted my house to look more grown up without spending too much (sans Target furniture!)
As I looked at more and more furniture stores, it quickly became apparent that I wouldn't be able to buy full price or new. So, I took to what I knew best— hitting thrift shops!
I've always been crafty and realized that a lot of pieces just needed minor repairs, paint, or new stain to become beautiful.
That's when Roadside Rehab was born!
As people started asking about my projects or asking for help with their own projects, I started blogging about my DIY journey.
I eventually got a job at a design firm in Los Angeles where I spent a year and a half learning about design, looking at midcentury items, and developing my eye and personal style. I then started working with designers and individuals looking for unique or hard to find home goods and gifts.
This is a shop for some of my projects and for some of the cool items I find along the way while looking for items to rehab. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
