Ciao! Siamo Rob e Leighanne Thompson, la coppia di marito e moglie che ha creato Rings by Rob & Lean.
Abbiamo avviato la nostra piccola attività di gioielleria vent'anni fa e nel 2007 abbiamo fatto un atto di fede, "lasciando i nostri lavori diurni", e abbiamo iniziato a creare anelli a tempo pieno. Due decenni dopo, siamo ancora qui, lavoriamo ancora insieme, creiamo ancora anelli uno alla volta e siamo ancora incredibilmente grati di poter fare questo per vivere.
Ci conosciamo dai tempi del liceo, siamo sposati da trentatré anni, abbiamo cresciuto sette figli insieme e ora viviamo e lavoriamo su sette splendidi acri di terreno nei monti Ozark del Missouri.

Crediamo che un anello debba essere più di un semplice oggetto da indossare.
Le fedi nuziali, gli anelli per l'anniversario e i regali significativi entrano a far parte della storia delle persone. Per questo amiamo particolarmente creare gioielli che uniscano materiali, colori e dettagli dal significato personale.
Ogni anello di Rob & Lean che creiamo è realizzato a mano nel nostro laboratorio. Non produciamo in serie i nostri anelli né preleviamo anelli finiti da un magazzino. Li creiamo su ordinazione, uno alla volta, per la persona che li indosserà, proprio come abbiamo fatto fin dall'inizio.

Lavoriamo con materiali quali titanio di grado aerospaziale, metalli preziosi, acciaio inossidabile di Damasco, meteorite, pietra naturale, opale, legni stabilizzati e altri materiali pregiati per intarsi.
Per gli anelli con inserti in legno o altri materiali che necessitano di protezione, utilizziamo un rivestimento resistente all'acqua e ai raggi UV, studiato per migliorare la resistenza all'umidità e la durata nel tempo. Non lo consideriamo un optional o un'opzione aggiuntiva, ma semplicemente parte integrante della creazione di gioielli di qualità, destinati a durare nel tempo.
I materiali naturali implicano anche variazioni naturali. Non esistono due pezzi di legno, pietra, meteorite o altro materiale naturale esattamente uguali. Crediamo che sia proprio questo a rendere speciali questi anelli: quello che realizziamo per te è davvero unico.

Nonostante gli anni, gli ordini e gli anelli che sono passati tra le nostre mani, Rings by Rob & Lean rimane ciò che era all'inizio: una piccola azienda a conduzione familiare.
Quando contattate il nostro negozio, parlate direttamente con i proprietari. Quando ordinate un anello, questo viene realizzato nel nostro laboratorio, da noi, e non spedito da terzi o inviato a una fabbrica per la produzione di massa.

Hi! We're Rob and Leighanne Thompson, the husband-and-wife team behind Rings by Rob & Lean.
We began our little jewelry business twenty years ago, and in 2007 we took a leap of faith, "quit our day jobs," and began making rings full time. Two decades later, we're still here—still working together, still making rings one at a time, and still incredibly grateful that this is what we get to do for a living.
We're high school sweethearts, have been married for thirty-three years, raised seven children together, and now live and work on seven beautiful acres in the Missouri Ozarks.

We believe a ring should be more than something you wear.
Wedding bands, anniversary rings, and meaningful gifts become part of people's stories. That's why we especially love creating pieces that incorporate materials, colors and details with personal significance.
Every Ring by Rob & Lean that we create is genuinely handmade in our studio. We don't mass-produce our rings or pull finished bands from a warehouse. We make them to order, one at a time, for the person who will wear them—just as we have from the beginning.
After twenty years, that's still at the heart of what we do.

We work with materials including aerospace-grade titanium, precious metals, stainless Damascus steel, meteorite, natural stone, opal, stabilized woods and other distinctive inlay materials.
For rings containing wood and other inlays requiring protection, we use a durable water- and UV-resistant coating designed to improve moisture resistance and durability. We don't consider that an upgrade or an extra—it is simply part of creating quality pieces that are built to last.
Natural materials also mean natural variation. No two pieces of wood, stone, meteorite or other natural material will ever be exactly alike. We think that's part of what makes these rings special: the one we make for you is genuinely yours.

Still a mom-and-pop shop.
Despite all the years, orders and rings that have passed through our hands, Rings by Rob & Lean remains what it started as: a small family business.
When you contact our shop, you're talking to the people who own it. When you order a ring, it's being made in our studio, by us- not drop shipped or sent to a factory for mass production.
We generally answer messages during normal business hours. If you contact us during an evening, weekend or holiday, we'll get back to you as soon as we're back in the shop.
Twenty years ago, we couldn't have known where this little business would take us. We're enormously thankful for the customers who made those years possible—and we're looking forward to the rings and stories still ahead.
