These are very fun --- I had a great time going through them and matching up dates ... lovely coppery red. I've not seen these for sale before (I'm not a coin collector!) and I'm delighted to add them to my stash. Thank you!

Lovely color -- very happy to have found an affordable N.Cadiz bead! Beautifully worn -- I can't wait to use it in a piece of jewelry. Many thanks for the excellent communication and service. Best regards, Lee

About

Bicycles to Metal to Glass

For about 10 years I built racing bicycles for the elite division of Schwinn, Paramount Design Group. After graduating from college in 1992 with a BFA in Metalsmithing, I continued working for another very high end specialty bicycle manufacturer for another 2 years. For the last 22 years I have been involved in the bead business. In 1995 lampwork glass beads became an obsession and I figured out a couple of different ways to make beads, contrary to what was commonly accepted as the "only" way. These beads I have been selling at bead shows since 1996. Since I have a degree in Metalsmithing and am very familiar with metals and soldering processes, I started selling gold filled and sterling silver items to supplement the lampwork glass. It has been exciting to see how the industry has changed over the years. Recently, I have focused on lampwork cabochons which are created off-mandrel, similar to glass blowing but on a much smaller scale. Somewhere in between all this I also started making drums and rattles. There are a few sculptures that I have created using rawhide.
