5 out of 5 starsThis item well surpassed my expectations. This was a gift for my bird enthusiast wife who has been trying to figure out how to decorate the high stairwell in our new house. We've gotten so many positive compliments. Great work! Edit 25 June 2023: Finally got around to hanging these wonderful carvings in our 24' lofted stairwell. They look great. Was afraid that the 12# test fishing line would be too visible, but you can hardly see it at all.

Hello, welcome to our web shop, offering one-of-a-kind, hand carved duck decoys in a variety of species and profiles. Each decoy is uniquely carved and meticulously finished the old fashioned way, by hand. The birds are carved from Canadian White Pine and finished with semi-transparent stains which allow the natural grain and warmth of the wood to show through. They are then sealed and sprayed with a water based finish. Eyes are inserted and each piece is signed and dated.
