Announcement   Hi! My name is Robin. I am a United States Army Veteran of 8 years. I started making soap in October 2002 because of the allergies I and my children had to chemical-laden soaps. Goat milk soap is nourishing and luxurious for your skin. Each bar of soap is made by me, in my home. :-) I have made literally thousands of bars of soaps over the years, learning along the way to make a bar of soap that you and your family will love and I can be proud of. Because I hand made the soaps, each and every bar will be different. The soap will always be delicious for your skin, but you may see natural imperfections because, after all, it is handmade and sometimes when pouring and hardening, air bubbles might occur or I might accidentally bump a bar on the table, etc. These do not affect the quality of the soap! :-)
I originally started my Etsy Robin's Soap Shoppe to help support my two daughters and I through a very difficult financial time in our lives. Now my daughters are BOTH serving in the United States Army (so proud of them!) and it is just me and my cat. But, finances are very different and this is my one-and-only income. When you purchase soap from me, you are not only getting a good-for-your-skin product, your are supporting an Army Veteran and single woman who is extremely responsible and debt-free who lives with debilitating anxiety who walks to all destinations, including to mail the soap/salves. As I've no car, I walk to my nearest mailing facility, the UPS store. An hour round-trip. :-) UPS charges $2.00 extra per box. They have exceptional service, so I will continue to use them as they are the closest to me and they have never lost a box. IF there is inclement weather or I am too sick to go out, I will mail your soap/salves the next possible day.
My soaps last a long time, but to make them last even longer, allow to dry in between uses. :-)
Thank you for choosing my li'l soap shoppe! - Robin :-)

Smells wonderful and is a bigger man sized bar. I'm going to give this to my hubby to try. Update: Hubby loves it. He smells soooooo good!

Very nice scent. I am pleased with all the moisturizers in Robin's soaps. And the scents. Not all the goat milk soap vendors have a variety of scented soaps like Robin does.

This scent is my favorite! Makes a good lather, and leaves my skin smelling so nice. It also has the moisturizers needed for winter wear and tear on skin.

Wonderful scent and beautiful designs. Robin's soaps are my absolute favorite soaps. They smell wonderful and do not leave any residue.

About

Welcome to Robin's Soap Shoppe!

Welcome to Robin's Soap Shoppe!
Thank you for stopping by and considering my soap and salve. I have been making all natural cold process soap since 2002. I've made thousands and thousands bars of cold process soap in that time for my family and friends and now for you. I love making soap.
1.) A little about ,me, I am a single mother and 8 year Army veteran. I am doing this alone, have no employees, and have debilitating anxiety and arthritis. Please be patient with me. :-)
2.) I do not have a car. Because of this, I mail out orders on Fridays only. By ordering from me, you understand this and also understand that if it is downpouring or 110F degrees out, or I am sick, your order will be mailed out on the next day that I am well or weather has cleared.
3.) ALL SALES ARE FINAL. I will offer refunds under no circumstances.
4.) There is a minimum order of $10.00. No exceptions to this. (Ten dollars of product, not to include shipping)
5.) Custom/Special Orders. I find it better if I don't do special orders, being that I am a "One Man Show" and handle each part of the process, from choosing soap ingredients, purchasing supplies, making the soap, curing and storing the soap, photographing soap, listing each new soap, selling, packaging, to walking long distances to mail soap.
6.) I can not provide you with medical advice and am legally restricted from answering your health related questions. It is lovely that all natural products may be beneficial, but as I am not a physician, I can not guarantee anything.
7.) Soaps, etc, will be listed as I am able to create them. Cold process soap takes three/four weeks to cure. My soaps are hand poured and may have imperfections. All of my soaps are hand poured and may have imperfections. Soap ash is white and may occur in the curing process on cold process soap. It washes off with the first wath and does not affect the quality of your soap. Each soap will have a brief description with it and whether it is scented or not. Any colorant used in my soaps is approved for use in skin care products and is safe to use. All of the herbs used in my salves are organic. I purchase my fragrances from a well respected soap supplies dealer who tests all of their fragrances in cold process soaps to see how they perform and hold up.
8.) You have one week from the day that I mail your soap to report anything missing from your order.
9.) I have personally used right around 50 different fragrances and essential oils since 2002 and can tell you that these are exceptional fragrances. If I would not use it for my family, I would not put it in your soap. We have been "crunchy" and very all natural minded for over a decade. :-) Thank you for choosing Robin's Soap Shoppe! :-)
10.) I advise that you use a soap dish with holes, to allow your soap to dry in between uses, in order to last longer. Enjoy!
