Hello and welcome to my ETSY shop, please click READ MORE!
I sell loose rare gemstones and finished jewelry. I also use ETSY as a place to sell off jewelry making supplies I no longer need/want. I have been in the jewelry making business since 1988. I am a proud member of The Artisan Group. I am a wife, a mom, a former teacher, a hobby farmer, a plant and animal lover, and an overlander. My logo is the Maya word "to be adorned".
Most of my loose rare gems began their life with me in the rough and then I sent the rough out to be faceted to my specifications. This helps ensure the veracity of the mineral identification and the claim of no treatments as well as keeps costs down.
My jewelry varies from affordable beaded bracelets and sterling beaded earrings to my specialties: ancient Roman glass jewelry, precious pearl jewelry, and rare gemstone jewelry.
Questions and special requests are always welcome! Please follow me on Facebook and on Instagram. Also please scroll to the bottom of my page to see my ETSY "Updates" section and my "About RockLogic" section.
Please note, wholesale orders used to be handled through www.wholesalecrafts.com (now called www.indieme.com) artist number 22565. If you are one of my wholesale customers and have switched to shopping with me here please contact me for your wholesale code. If you are a new wholesale customer please contact me with your credentials to set up a wholesale account with me. Be aware that the same minimums I had set up on Wholesalecrafts.com apply here. If your state is one of the states that ETSY is forced to collect sales tax for please contact me to make direct wholesale purchases as I cannot remove the sales tax here.

5 out of 5 starsAlex is quite simply, the best. The most knowledgeable, the most meticulous, and the three pieces I've bought from her (so far) are in a class by themselves. I can't thank you enough, Alex!

5 out of 5 starsThis is truly an exceptional piece of jewelry. Alex is an expert gemologist as well as silversmith. Learning about the pearls, semi-precious stones, vintage glass, and crystals, that she used to make this extraordinary piece will lead me back to this store... many times! Thank you!

5 out of 5 starsThis is a very beautifully crafted pendant. I was surprised at how small and delicate it is, even though the measurements were given. I do really like it and have been wearing it all the time since I got it. I am very happy with it.

I love to work with pearls, ancient Roman glass, sterling, faceted gems & gemstone beads. I am self taught. I do not keep a full bench, but in addition to stringing I can set gems, have done some soldering, and have worked with precious metal clay.
