Idlewild Co. is a small paper goods studio founded in 2011 in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn by artist and designer Katie Gastley. We got our start selling our hand-painted prints and cards at the Renegade Craft Festivals and holiday craft shows in Brooklyn and Manhattan, slowly building a fan-base under the name Rocket Ink. Eventually, we were able to expand into custom wedding work and personal stationery commissions. We proudly announced our full debut of retail paper goods at the National Stationery in 2012 & have watched (and worked!) excitedly as our brand has grown roots & taken shape. Our line can be found at brick-and-mortar locations throughout the United States, Canada & Australia.
We love what we do, we love what we make, and at the end of the day want to leave our customers happy to give and thankful to receive.

Katie is the go-to lady for all of Idlewild's creative endeavors & collaborations. She founded the boutique paper goods company in 2009, and all of their product features her unique painted artwork and lettering.

Emily has an artistic eye for detail like no other! Along with managing inventory & order shipments, she makes sure all outbound Idlewild product is top-notch. Tape, twine & tissue paper are slain with expert efficiency in her nimble fingers wake.
Taylor assists in packing and shipping all retail and wholesale orders & lends her hand in product photography.

E-Checks must be bank-cleared before your order can process. This can take up to additional 5-14 days in handling time, depending on your financial institution.
We ship all of our single cards, post card sets, and gift tags in rigid kraft flat-pack mailers and they ship USPS First Class to all domestic and international addresses from zip 32963. You can calculate how long it may take to arrive to your destination at usps.com. You may upgrade to 2-3 Day Priority Mail by convo-ing us prior to ordering.
Boxed Card Sets, Calendars, Art Prints, Combination of items • Orders > $10.00
These items will ship USPS Priority to domestic address and USPS First Class to International addresses, as will includes tracking. Your tracking information will be updated on your Transaction Confirmation. Domestic addresses estimate a 3-5 business day transit time, with the exception of peak holiday times estimating around 5-7 business days. Please check the USPS Shipping Calculator found online to estimate first class delivery times to international addresses. We are not responsible for USPS delays from inclement weather or rerouting problems.
GENERAL SHIPPING POLICIES:
Orders are processed within 24 hours of order completion and are shipped daily Monday thru Friday. Tracking is now included on all items–even our single cards! Additionally we offer a variety of shipping add-ons at the prices below. Please convo us for details BEFORE making your purchase, as we can not include add-ons after your oder has been completed.
• Add Signature Confirmation to Priority Mail or First Class Order: +$3.00
• Upgrade First Class mail option to Priority Mail: + $5.95
Our studio is open Monday through Friday, and closed on all National USA holidays. Additionally we close the Friday before Christmas through January 2 annually.
Refunds and Exchanges
DON'T LIKE IT OR CHANGED MY MIND:
Items may be returned to us at your expense for a full refund, not including shipping. Refunds are processed after we receive the item in it's original condition. We do not offer refunds on discounted/sale items, personalized or custom order items, or calendars.
ITEM ARRIVED DAMAGED BY FREIGHT/SHIP CARRIER:
If a product arrives damaged, please notify us immediately. To receive a replacement item, please return the package to us un-opened as we need to document the carton damage with USPS. Return shipping charges must be paid at your expense, but will be credited back to you upon our insurance reimbursement from USPS. (Shipping reimbursements are refunded via PayPal ONLY.)
I RECEIVED A DEFECTIVE ITEM:
Please notify us within 5 days of item delivery if you have received a defective item. We will supply a return-shipping label, which you can affix to your package and mail back. Upon item's return, we will automatically ship you a replacement item free of charge.
We do not offer reimbursement for previously purchased items should they be sold at a discounted rate at a later date.
