All of my items ARE hand made using conventional wood-working tools. I don't use lasers or computers. I cut by hand.
I sit in my garage, hunched over my scroll saw, glasses at the tip of my nose, making my items BY HAND.

Unique and original. Many different themes. Custom jobs (ask and we'll see)
All kinds of wood AND all of my wood is reclaimed, up-cycled, recycled and chemical free...
Your old wood futon could now be one of my creations.

Unfortunately, this item along with a double rope swing I purchased has a huge split down the middle after only 1 day and is no longer safe for my child to use. I contacted the seller immediately and he would not refund my product. Upon noticing these defects I first looked at the sellers profile for his refund policies and there weren't any posted. After contacting Rock he sent me his policies which are arrogant and boasts about his high quality products. He then posted them to his shops profile. He sells these items as "shabby chic" and therefore has no concern for safety. Rock also took down all his items that he had for sale after I contacted him..... very suspicious! This product is poor quality and not safe for children to use. Sellers like this should not be allowed on Etsy.

My refund policy has been posted since the day I opened my shop 2/12/2012. If I copied and pasted it in a message response to you, that DOES NOT mean they were "just" posted I DO use reclaimed, recycled, repurposed wood and none of my items are "perfect" in the sense that there are no imperfections. BUT MY ITEMS NEVER LEAVE MY SHOP IN AN UNSAFE CONDITION. The photos you sent me don't reflect naturally occurring damage They show straight lines, what appear to be gouges where the paint is gone, as if "keyed" You also state BOTH swings were damaged but only sent me images of one I am sorry IF you had buyers remorse or someone on your end damaged them but in your case a refund WAS NOT warranted SEE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEW

I have sold many swings and have NEVER HAD A COMPLAINT. .... And when I have received refund requests that were "justified" I HAVE issued refunds..... I am sorry IF you had buyers remorse or someone on your end damaged them but in your case a refund WAS NOT warranted SEE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEW

I'll be shipping things UPS GROUND and/or USPS PRIORITY... AND ONLY WITHIN THE GOOD OLD USA and to our friends in the Great White North.
I'll contact you ASAP with a tracking number. And of course the item will be insured.
In plain english... I will only ship within the United States and MAYBE to Canada
If you need an item super quick please contact me before you make the purchase so I can calculate a new shipping rate.

Also, for my Canadian friends, YOU will have to deal with any customs problems (I'll fill out any required forms at time of shipping and send it on. Once it gets to the border you'll have to deal with the Mounties. Sorry.

PLEASE REMEMBER... Our items are pretty much shabby chic and we use reclaimed, recycled, used wood. There's going to be imperfections. What you see/saw at the time of purchase is what you're going to get.
NO REFUNDS on custom orders.
Damaged during shipment is another story. Hopefully it won't happen but we will deal with it immediately
