The Love of Clay and Food

Hello, my name is Ronit Yam, I am a mom of two daughters, a wife, a potter, and a foodie. I work and live in Israel on the top of Mount Carmel. My house/ studio is surrounded by a nature reserve that is full of wildlife, endless green mountains, and blue sky. I am a creative person and throughout my life, I practiced many different arts and crafts.

I started my journey in the pottery world a couple of years ago when I attended classes at a local pottery business. It was love at first touch. When I first touched the mud I immediately felt like I arrived home. I must admit that learning pottery was not easy for me at all, but I was determined to succeed and really wanted to be professional at it. It didn’t take long until I bought my own wheel and kiln and established my pottery business (and really started learning..).

In my pottery, I mainly produce tableware and functional wares. I guess that is because esthetics plays a major role in my life and probably also because I'm a foodie. I regard the eating experience as a holistic one and when I design wares I think of the food that will be served on them as well as the atmosphere we would like to create in our lives. I think that tableware is equally important as the food itself.

The style of my work is rather minimalistic, I like to let the clay guide me to different directions and try to capture the natural beauty of the clay and to show my unique interpretation of tableware. I draw my inspiration from nature and I am influenced by the Japanese culture as well as Nordic design. I appreciate simple and clean designs and work with a rather quiet color palate.

I welcome you to stroll around my shop, to enjoy my collections and to pick the accurate choice that will make you and your family happy.

Enjoy!

Frequently asked questions
Sizing details

All of my items are handmade. Because of that, some of the items might be slightly different in size or shape, nevertheless very similar to the item's description.

Customs and import taxes

In most destinations, there are no additional fees for Customs or import taxes, such as in the United States and in most EU countries.
But, in some countries, like Germany, The UK, and Italy, there may be additional fees and delays in delivery for customs inspections.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

If you decide to refuse a package due to customs fees you are required to pay - the package will be returned to me. On the way back, it may be stopped in the customs here (in large orders) and I may be required to pay customs. Such costs, if occur, will be deducted from the order refund. In addition, the shipping costs paid originally are non-refundable.
