From the moment we receive your paid order, you can expect your items to leave our studio within 3-5 business days, or sooner, unless we notify you otherwise. We do not ship on Sunday's or Monday's, so if your order is due to ship out on one of those two days, please note it will ship out on the Tuesday after. During the Christmas holidays, our processing times vary from 1 to 3 weeks. Processing times may also vary during certain holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Graduation, etc. Please contact us directly for specific time frames and order cut-off dates.

We currently accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Paypal and Etsy gift cards. Etsy uses best-in-class technology to safeguard your credit card information.

Hand-stamping is different from engraving. Engraving is typically done by a machine and lines up perfectly and evenly. Our jewelry is hand-stamped, letter by letter using a hammer, and is not going to be "perfect". We do our best to create beautiful custom pieces, but there may be discrepancies in spacing, lining and depth of stamping, which gives it such unique charm and high demand. If you are expecting perfect stamping, you may want to find an engraver.

RooBarb Studios strives for 100% customer satisfaction. However, any item that is custom-stamped is NOT eligible for return, refund or exchange UNLESS there was an error on our part (misspelling, wrong placement, wrong metal, etc.). Please contact us directly if you have any questions prior to placing your order. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us within seven (7) days to discuss.

Some metals can tarnish when exposed to air, especially where there is a lot of sulfur in the air and/or water. To keep your jewelry clean when not wearing, keep it in an airtight container or Ziploc bag. If your jewelry begins to tarnish, you can use a jewelry polishing cloth to shine or you can use a liquid jewelry cleaner available at most retail stores (Wal-Mart, Target, etc.). Make sure the liquid cleaner can be used on your specific type of metal (silver, brass, etc.).
If the black lettering your jewelry begins to "fade" or come off, we suggest using a black sharpie marker to color in the letters. Let dry and either use a jewelry polishing cloth or super fine steel wool (grade 0000) to polish and remove excess sharpie residue.

Some people may have a reaction to certain metals, especially copper, where the pH levels can cause the skin to turn green. This can be caused by either a chemical reaction between the acids in your skin and the metal or, it's a reaction between another substance on your skin (lotion, soap, perfume) and the metal. While this green tinge is mostly harmless, there are ways to avoid it:
1. Avoid getting it wet. Do not wear when showering, exercising or swimming, especially in salt water.
2. Apply a thin coat of clear nail polish to the inside of your ring or bangle. You can also apply a wax finish; however it will eventually wear off and need to be re-applied.
3. Keep in an airtight container or Ziploc bag when not wearing.

Our 1/8" and 1/4" aluminum products are considered food safe.

Our 1/8" and 1/4" sterling silver products have a 925 purity rating (in sterling silver, 92.5% of the object by weight is sterling silver and 7.5% will be another alloy). We purchase the majority of our sterling silver in bulk by the foot and is cut to length for each piece made. Because of this, each piece will not have the 925 stamping on it; however, we assure you that our sterling silver is 925 purity rated.

All of our stamped jewelry is done by hand, one letter at a time. Because of this, no two pieces will ever be the same and there may be slight variations in spacing and alignment. To us, that is the beauty and charm of hand-stamped jewelry and we hope you think so, too!
