About

Life as One Beautiful, Creative Act

I was born and raised in a tiny, rain soaked community on the north Oregon coast. This fact has informed and shaped my life in countless ways, and is often the first thing I come back to when I think about who I am, where I’ve been, and where I’m going.

The other thread that has always run through my life is my passion for creating. I am just now, in my late twenties, beginning to fully identify with the title of “Artist,” but for as long as I can remember I have had my hands in something; drawing, painting, writing, photographing and coloring the world around me.

I’m attempting to make my life, in as many ways as possible, a beautiful, creative act. This is such a multi-faceted idea to me, and takes many forms. It could be the simple act of making a local, colorful, handmade meal from scratch. It is the connections we form, the community, support, inspiration, and collaboration we find with our friends, neighbors and family. It’s in how we dress, how we decorate and inhabit our dwellings, the letters we write and the music we hear, sing, and dance to.

I believe deeply that the best way to serve the world is to fully, and without reservation, become the happiest, truest version of yourself.

Do what inspires you, what makes you feel fulfilled, and do it now.

Welcome!

I design and make with my own two little hands all of the creations you see here in my shop. My hands aren't as precise as a machine. Because of this each item I make has irregularities and quirks, and is completely unique. I think this is what makes handmade things special.

I love what I do, and I love this creative life I lead.

Thanks for stopping by my shop, and have a great day!
