Announcement    Welcome to RootsOfYou Ancestral Vintage Goods. Vintage cookbooks, herbal medicine books, linens (tea towels, doilies, handkerchiefs), crochet, jewelery, buttons, hosiery and ephemera. All vintage items are sourced by me personally from around the world, especially in the US and UK.

So many of us suffer from a feeling of ‘disconnection’ from ourselves, nature, our communities - and our ancestors! I’ve been rescuing special vintage items for over 15 years. Not just regular old stuff - these items have a quality that speaks to me in a way I can’t describe. They are tactile. Grounded in a sense of place. Filled with stories. By using authentic vintage items, sourced from our ancestral places, we can connect to our roots and our ancestors. Plus - they look fantastic and are just fun!

Please note these are authentic vintage items. That means they have often been used before, and all have been stored for a long time! Since I’ve obtained the items, they are in a smoke-free, pet-free house - however, I can’t say how they were stored previously.
