5 out of 5 starsLove this little vase! It looks exactly like the photos and is so unique. I was drawn to it right away for the colors, shape and natural motifs and when I unwrapped and saw it in real life I loved it even more. Also very much appreciate the careful protective wrapping and prompt shipping.

5 out of 5 starsRos makes the most beautiful pottery! The relief on this mug is so fat and detailed, capturing the texture of the tiny lavender flowers...eeeek, I love it. Great weight and glaze, too.

5 out of 5 starsI ordered this mug as a gift and it’s so beautiful I want to keep it for myself. I discovered Ros’s work at a little shop while on a trip to Shenandoah (I got a plant potter) and have been so pleased with the aesthetic and quality of the products.

Handmade ceramics inspired by nature
Hello, I’m a potter and ceramicist in Harrisonburg, VA, and I’m glad you found me!
My pottery is inspired by a lot of things, often plants and flowers I find in my yard or around town. I like to play with texture and glazes that flow and move in organic ways. For me, pottery is a way to give up a bit of control in my life, and I see it as a collaboration between myself and the unseen, and often unpredictable, forces of nature that take place in the kiln.
I work with mid-range stoneware, and a combination of commercial and homemade food-safe glazes. I like to work slowly, mostly handbuilding with slabs and coils.
Thank you for supporting me, and I hope you enjoy my work!

Care instructions
I recommend handwashing and microwaving for short periods of time (e.g. 30 seconds) to prolong the life of these pieces.
Note that some specific pieces are not microwave- or dishwasher-safe, and that will be noted in their descriptions. This applies to pieces with gold plating or wire decoration, and I generally only use these with decorative items that aren't meant to hold food or drink.
Gift wrapping and packaging
If you select the "gift wrap" option at check out, I will wrap your gift in kraft tissue, and tie it with white and gold string.
Wholesale availability
I do not sell wholesale at this time.
