Everything about the transactions went well. The owner communicated in a timely fashion and was clear about the details of the purchase. The package was extremely well packed and the item arrived in perfect condition. Would definitely do business with the artist again.

About

Juggling,multitasking- a way of life for a lover of creating art

I consider myself fortunate to have managed to feel that I am getting what I most desired out of life- An actual moneymaking career in textiles with the flexibility to pursue my true passion for art for art's sake through involvement in the fine art world. The journey has taken me through this dual career and still allowed me the time to focus on my greatest of creations, my family. Not that it hasn't been a struggle in all categories, but I wouldn't give up a single compact moment of it.
My involvement in Etsy has offered me a great marketing tool- I get to see just what interests buyers, and often it's nothing that I would expect! I have to admit, I've been a little slow in using Etsy to further my art and I'm just warming up to it, thanks to the support of many helpful tips that I finally got down to read. I am just beginning to get it, when it comes to getting the most exposure on the site, and the responses have shown me that I must be on the right path....Finally! In fact, I am also publishing my website for the very first time, this week (I am embarrassed to admit it's taken me this long for that too!!).
I love the feedback and support from my artistic fellow sellers and art lovers in the Etsy community, and it's gratifying to see how many other crazy night owls are out there searching through the labyrinth of art at all hours!

Shop policies

To all visitors to my site-"Rosalind Shaffer" I would like to thank you for viewing my work. I welcome any and all inquiries into the processes that I use to create the sculpture, art vessels, functional pottery and mixed media pieces in my collection. If you would like more information concerning a piece that is being purchased, I can include that with the piece when it is shipped. Though I believe in a cohesive body of work, I enjoy Etsy as a looser forum to experiment with new ideas, thus promoting the progress of new and different work.

Payment
I accept Paypal as the method of payment. Where there is sales tax, it will be applied to the price of the piece purchased. As soon as the payment has cleared through Paypal I will promptly send the work to you.
Shipping
Primarily I will be using UPS to ship the work. Unless specified as a rush, I will use the least costly shipping mode. If a piece needs to be overnighted or sent quickly I will clear this with the buyer so the buyer understands and consents to the higher shipping cost. It will be professionally packed as the pieces can be fragile. I will also insure the piece under my name, and the buyer will not be charged for this. If the buyer chooses to insure the piece, the charge will be added to the cost of shipping.
Refunds and Exchanges
Each case is different, but if a piece arrives damaged or is lost, it has been insured so the buyer will be refunded the price of the piece and the cost of shipping, which will be included in the insuring amount.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders will be created upon receipt of an agreed upon amount for the piece.
