I believe that in order to have a home with character and style, you need vintage items that showcase your unique personality. I love hunting for those items; the ones you just can't find at Target, or even a high-end department store. They're the items that tell a story, and have life in them through their history. I'm obsessed with Art Deco and I'm particularly drawn to anything that reminds me of a visit to Grandma's house-- something that makes me smile or sparks a fond memory.

Everything I've chosen has been cleaned and photographed to show each item in detail, but please don't hesitate to message me with questions because I want you to buy with confidence. I accept all reasonable offers.

I'm constantly adding new, fabulous finds, so please "favorite" my shop and follow me on facebook, so you won't miss out:

The history of Lady Head Vases...

Lady head vases became popular post WWII, and often depict the head or bust of glamorous movie stars. Japan produced an abundance of ceramics in the 1950s, which were brought into the U.S. and sold inexpensively at neighborhood five-and-dime stores such as Woolworths. Florists often used these vases to design small bouquets. The popularity of these ladies died off in the 1970s, but are back in extremely high demand. Collectors seek the ladies with details: hats, hands, dimensional eyelashes and jewelry. The larger ladies that measure 7 inches and up seem to be in the highest demand. Vintage lady heads are definitely harder to find than they used to be, but the search is part of the fun. You never know when you may stumble across that certain lady who captures your heart. (And who may be worth a small fortune).
