My name is Camille, I'm the owner of roses & ruins and also a crazy cat lady with a sweet tooth !
I opened roses & ruins in 2011 and I would never have imagined that the shop will become such an important part of my life and bring me so much happiness.
Since the first step of roses & ruins I've learnt tons of things everyday, I've met wonderful people and I've felt so lucky to have people from all around the world supporting me.
At the end of Summer 2015 I had to close the shop during two years because I did not have enough time to run it with the care and attention I wanted to put in it.
Now seems a good time to re-open because I have all the time I need to run the shop and two years of Vintage hunting hauls that need to find a lovely new home.

The following policies should give you all the informations you need to know in order to purchase safely from roses & ruins so please, take a few minutes to read them carefully (even if, I know, it's quite boring...).
Accepted payment methods
- Accepts Etsy gift cards
• You can pay with your Paypal account or credit card payments through Paypal if you do not have an account on their site. In that case, select "I don't have a Paypal account" and you will be able to use your credit card to pay.
• You can also pay with Etsy direct checkout system that will allow you to use several sort of cards, including the Etsy Gift Card.

• The vintage treasures of the shop that are online since 10 days or more can be hold for you during 3 days, without any deposit requirement.
However roses & ruins keeps the right to refuse a holding request.
• roses & ruins is a french shop but all items currantly ship from Sweden.
• Items will be sent 1 to 5 days after your purshase.
• If your parcel is lost or damaged parcels I will do my best to help you solve the problem on a case by case basis. Please check the refund section below for more informations.
• Some items do not fit in an enveloppe so they will probably be packed in pre-used boxes. If you prefer a brand new box instead of a recycled one, please contact us prior to order.

• Shipping costs include the tracking and insurrance of your parcel.
• Delivery usually takes 3 to 10 business days for European Union and 10 to 25 business days for other countries.
• As a buyer you will be responsible for all VAT, import fees and taxes imposed by your country.
Refunds and Exchanges
• If you live in the European Union, after the delivery, you will have up to 14 days to return us your order if you are not fully happy with it.
• If you live outside of the European Union, after the delivery, you will have up to 5 days to return us your order if you are not fully happy with it.
• Vintage items are sometimes considered only for a party or as a costume.
For roses & ruins to accept your return and refund you, the items must be in the exact same condition as they were delivered to you : unworn, unwashed, unaltered and with its tag still on.
• In order to avoid any inconvenience and unnecessary delay during the return process, please let me know that you are willing to return the order using the form provided to you and then return it with a tracking number.
• After the reception of the order, we will check the conformity of the item before we issue the refund. In any case you will not wait more than 10 days.

• The buyer is responsible for the return shipping charges. We will not refund them.
• If everything is fine with the item you returned, we will refund you the item and shipping price.
• If the item you send back have been worn, washed, altered and or if the tag is missing you will not receive a full refund.
However if you return the item from a non-E.U. country, we will deduce from the refund all customs fee we had to pay to complete your return.
• In case of lost or damaged parcels we will consider refund you 50% of the item cost or give you a store credit of 100% of the item cost. In both cases, shipping costs are non-refundable.
Additional policies and FAQs
• Most vintage items are also pre-loved items and even a " New old stock " item sometimes present some imperfections due to its past storage conditions. Most of my treasures are older than I am so they are probably older than you as well !
• They are not free of minor imperfections. Most of the time, they are part of the unique personality, charm and style of the piece.
• From perfect to fair condition, items are wearable and something in their style made me find them desirable.
