Not only is her cause amazing, but her impecible communication and quick turn around with getting all that I needed even before it was needed was outstanding. The quality of her work was amazing as well!

About

Where Hope Blooms

Roses for Tomorrow (formerly Roses for Breast Cancer) started in my classroom. A student left a duct tape rose pen in my room, and I went home and made a few. I posted them on facebook and a friend asked if I would make her a dozen, and she would buy them. I continued to make the roses for fun.

In August of 2011, I attended the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer kickoff breakfast. They talked of innovative fundraising and how to get stared. I thought back to my rose sale, and thought I would give it a try. In just 2 short months, I had raised over $2,500 for the American Cancer Society with the help of my amazing family and friends.

Fast forward to 2015, and Roses has worked with organizations supporting breast cancer, ovarian cancer, pediatric cancer, cancer survivors, and homelessness in Syracuse, NY, Maui, and Chicago. Over $25,000 has been raised, with no end in sight :)

Welcome to Roses for Tomorrow: Where Hope Blooms! All of the items in this shop are created using DUCT TAPE! I was inspired by a single duct tape rose one of my students left in my classroom and began STICKING IT to breast cancer with the American Cancer Society in August of 2011. I now work with organizations locally and nationally, helping spread the love and joy of taping, and assisting those in need.

A portion of the proceeds in this shop support local organizations in Syracuse, NY, unless otherwise noted in the listing :)
