Learned embroidery, sewing, knitting and crocheting early: thanks, Mom! Love whimsey and romance, as well as giving new life to unwanted or neglected items. Fond of the funky, frayed, faded and forgotten.
I love old lace, fabrics, buttons and vintage jewelry, broken or whole. I have collected for years and and am delighted to find the right new home for a wee treasure.
Most of the things I sell contain something genuinely vintage. As befitting vintage, some pieces of jewelry or buttons or fabric are less than perfect due to age and may be frayed, faded or marked. They may show wear or other "imperfection" such as discoloration or small holes. I am committed to reusing materials which still have lots of potential, as I consider them "well loved" with plenty of life left. There may be times when an old stone might fall from a piece of jewelry in transit and might need to be re-glued by the buyer...I cannot predict this but know it has happened to me in the past when I have ordered jewelry. Please understand that it can happen and that I cannot take responsibility for these events.
The vintage finds I also include in my shop are generally in good or better condition. I will inform you of their condition to the best of my ability. I do take pride in and enjoy seeking out reasonably priced items in great shape to pass on to an appreciative new owner, although I am only human and occasionally miss flaws.

I will inform you if I have gone on vacation for more than a few days.
Please note that shipping includes postage, packaging and trips to the post office. Etsy and Paypal both have fees, which also factor into shipping prices.
Shipping internationally can take up to four weeks (even later) so I cannot guarantee its arrival by a particular date. As mentioned above, I will usually get your order out within 24 hours of receiving it, unless there is a holiday or other event which closes the post office.
Refunds and Exchanges
Reserves accepted for a reasonable amount of time.
I accept returns of dresses on an individual basis; please let me know within 5 days of receipt what the problem is. If you do return the dress, return costs are your responsibility. There are no refunds for postage in either direction; this is a similar policy for many Etsy sellers. Please make sure item is trackable and is put back into the mail within 10 days of receiving.
Please note in my welcome message that some items will contain slight imperfections due to age. I consider these "beauty marks" and not flaws, and hope you will see them in a similar light. There are so many potentially lovely items out there awaiting a second act, and I am glad to find some of them to pass along. I do my best to discover any imperfections but being human, I might miss something
If there is damage caused by the mail, we will work something out. Please notify me within 5 days of receipt if there is a problem. I will ask you to photograph damage to verify.
There are no refunds for custom pieces, nor are there refunds for items delivered but somehow not received. Make sure you have a safe place to receive packages as the media has recently highlighted thefts of packages left on doorsteps.
