I LOVE LOVE LOVE my beautiful hair flowers! You did an amazing job...I really appreciate the fact that the clip is attached correctly with the big end facing away from the face(Im a photographer and that is huge!)...Thanks you for the extra flower with the dove...I will definitely be making another order:))

About

How the bunnies came about.

At age four, I was dressed in a pink tutu and pink and white rabbit ears for a children's ballet recital in Germany. After the show was over, my proud parents presented me with a small white rabbit figurine. It was a happy moment. Their faces beamed, I can still see it.

Two years later, I met Jimmy Stewart in London when he was starring in the play "Harvey". My parents encouraged me to go up to him and he sat me on his knee talked kindly to me. I don't remember what he said, but I love him, and I love Harvey. If you haven't seen the film, I highly recommend it. Oh, and Harvey is a 6 foot tall rabbit. Again...rabbits.

A few years later I fell in love with the story of The Velveteen Rabbit. My bunny love grew deeper.

Some twenty or so years later, I taught myself how to sew and started making these giant bunnies. This must have been in 2008 or thereabouts. I made one for a friend, who showed her bunny to another woman, who showed hers to another woman, and things just gathered steam from there. They are extremely popular as baby gifts, but also with all other types of folks as well. Nothing cheers up a friend with the blues like a giant soft goofy rabbit to sleep with.

I always come back to the rabbits. I have had fun adventures with making and selling other items (handbags, skirts, halter tops, jewelry, pinup hair flowers, etc...) but I find real joy in sewing these rabbits.

Love and Rabbits,
Rosie Sue

My favorite thing in life (besides thrift-store shopping, eating mac and cheese, and dreaming of Paris), is making things. I totally believe that if you enjoy what you are making, fun and happy energy goes into it. I had a great time making each of the items I have listed in my shop.

Payment
I prefer Paypal as payment. *Very important note to follow!...* Please make sure that your Paypal address is current because that is the address that will be receiving your item. I am not responsible for items that are lost in the mail (please see insurance info in the shipping box below). If you have any questions at all, please feel free to contact me.
Shipping
Since each item is one of a kind (which makes them very special ;)), I cannot replace an item that has been lost in the mail. Purchasing insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Please add $2 onto your total at checkout and write me a note to let me know that you desire to add the shipping insurance. $2 is not much to pay for peace of mind.

If you live in the greater Austin area, I will deliver your bunny to you!
Refunds and Exchanges
I will issue a refund for the full amount of your item less shipping charges. I really want each item to go to a good home, as I put a ton of love into the making of each one, so if your Rosie Sue item does not work for you for whatever reason, send me a note within two days of receiving item, and I will grant a refund. I will not accept items for return that have been abused in any way (ie. if they are stained or ripped or have boogers on them). I make sure to pack and ship my items with care and great affection.
Additional policies and FAQs
Because each item is handmade, little boo-boos might be evident upon super-close inspection. I am also new to embroidery, so some of the lines might be a little wavy! I hope that for you, these things add to the charm.
