To Amazing Friends and Customers,

It's been awhile! I am nearly five months pregnant and expecting my baby in early February. I've been taking a break from the fuels, chemicals and general mental intensity that comes with creating full-time, in exchange for a slower pace and pregnancy-focused past few months.

I am hoping to be back to creating again before the holidays, though if/when that happens, you will most likely find me more often over at my personal website rather than here on Etsy. I will not be resuming custom order work or made-to-order items for awhile. More info to come as warranted, as as the time draws closer.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, written me, sent warm wishes, etc. You mean more to me than you know. I so look forward to conversing with you on the other side of this lovely adventure I'm having.

xx,
RR

TO CLEAN AND CARE FOR YOUR ROSY REVOLVER JEWELRY:

The matte finish on my pieces is likely to hold onto fingerprints and residue over time. The best way to clean your jewelry without affecting either the finish or the patina is to mix a bit of water and baking soda together until it forms a thick paste. Dip a damp SOFT toothbrush into the paste and scrub your piece vigorously. Rinse well and dry thoroughly right away. When not being worn, store in a box, bag, or some other spot safe from dampness and air.

Do not use commercial jewelry cleaners or harsh chemicals on your piece. I cannot be held responsible for the effects this might have. Baking soda, mild dish soap and water are all you should need to keep your piece looking new. These are safe for both silver and stones.

Howdy!
Welcome to my itsy bitsy Etsy corner. I work with my lovely assistant Charlie out of a small rural studio and create jewelry that is inspired by my farm surroundings, my love for the south and the west, a passion for vintage and Victorian embellishment, and an appreciation for the heavy adornment used in Asian, Indian, Mexican, and Turkish cultures. The work you see here is a conversion and juxtaposition of all these things, captured in my silly head and executed most often in silver and stone. I don't pretend that my work always makes sense, but it is made with a full heart and lots of passion. I hope it is as much a joy to wear as it is to create.

You can find more information about me, my inspirations, my successes and struggles at my blog: www.rosyrevolver.blogspot.com

Additional policies and FAQs

Consignment and Wholesale:
As of now, I do not do consignment nor wholesale. I am the only person involved in the making and marketing of my work, and therefor my volume is much too small to accommodate that kind of relationship.

Etsy Black Market:
Several of my metalsmithing friends here on Etsy have had problems with their work being purchased and then resold. My work in general is NOT for resale. If I find that you as a customer have bought a piece of mine only to turn around and sell or trade it to someone else, I will file a complaint with Etsy.

Appreciation:
I know that purchasing online can be risky business; please know that my ultimate goal is to have you be entirely happy with your experience here. I appreciate your patronage and interest in my work, and will do everything I can to work with you should you have questions, custom requests, special needs, etc. Please just ask any questions up front, and make any necessary requirements known PRIOR to your purchase so that we can be sure we are on the same page, and that I can accommodate what it is you might require.

Thank you again for stopping by.
