5 out of 5 starsThis is the very first dress i have ever sewn, and it came out just as pictured! The pattern was easy to follow and the sew along video was also very helpful, especially as a visual learner! These patterns are the best for beginners and it did not take me as long as i expected!

4 out of 5 starsThis pattern was great. The youtube video was a great help. My only problem was the bust area was a little too large on the sides but a simple dart fixed that quicky. Overall, great pattern. I wore the dress to our local jazz festival and got many compliments. Would definately sew it again. I wish I got photos.

5 out of 5 starsFinally whipped this pattern up! I’m an intermediate sewist and it’s definitely on the trickier side with a lot of pieces and confusing pattern names (front middle and front middle 2?) so I had to unpick more than I would’ve liked. Most mistakes I made were from my own laziness or lack of attention to detail. The sizing is also in cm, so when sizing for myself I got pretty confused, as I’m used to imperial for my body measurements so would’ve been nice to have 2 charts. Otherwise, it came out true to size, but I think I’ll size down for my next iteration. I’m using this as the base for my wedding dress. It’s a beautiful shape and neckline. Oh and don’t use thick fabric! I used a linen table cloth and a thin cotton bedsheet for my first version and even that was too much. It is very heavy and hot!
