Neither of us were really happy with our current work life...
As a "Jack and Jill" of all trades, between the two of us, we have had jobs that included everything from a dog trainer, to a US Marine, a special needs educator, & a welder/pipe fitter. The list goes on...

We started making jerky back in 2010 after taking a camping trip to the Sierra Nevada's together. Traveling along CA-HWY 395, we saw several signs advertising for some "Really Good Beef Jerky". Some of these signs were strategically placed some 295 miles from the actual location. Along the way we kept periodically seeing these signs for some "Really GOOD Beef Jerky"...Their ploy worked. We stopped at the shop which was a tiny little shack on the side of the road. It was just as their advertising said, it WAS really good beef jerky.

Culinary Arts being one of our passions, we decided we could make our own jerky, just as good as the one that we seemed to have travelled miles to taste.
And so it began....

Throughout the years we started making jerky and gave it away as gifts so our friends and family could try it. They seemed to love it, so we kept making it. Then people started asking for it!
So we kept making it...

In the meantime, we started developing the process in which we make our jerky as well as creating new flavors. We listened to those who loved our product and believed in what we were trying to build. The flavors we have are a result of those who have supported us along the way. They have been a huge part of who we are and our products and we are so grateful for them.
In the many years that we have been making jerky, we have always strived to create a jerky that not only is homemade, but is also gourmet in its taste.
Our flavored jerky is not only marinated and dried, but is also coated a second time to create a candied flavor that gets those taste buds going.
