Working on an Ophelia Bonnet in Old Rose. Isn't it beautiful two_hearts
Rowan wore his Tides Beanie on a walk out the other day. Wow it looked amazing in the sunlight!
His beanie was knitted in the Tobacco colourway. While it is an odd name for baby yarn, this colour is lush. Brown in some light and a vibrant green in others

About

All About RowRow & Kades

Hello! My name is Kelly and I live in a little village in the countryside of the north east UK with my fiance Terry and our two sons, 9-year-old Kaden and 2-year-old Rowan.

Like most people who knit I was taught by my Nana when I was 6 years old. My first adult career was in a punk band, playing guitar. The two didn’t mix! So I ditched the guitar for the needles and here I am!

I designed my first hat pattern in April 2011 and was hooked from that point on.

I’ve designed for magazines including Let’s Knit! and Knit Now and I have a decent sized collection of knitting patterns in my repertoire now.

After becoming pregnant with my second child I started making baby clothes again too so RowRow and Kades was born.

I create beautiful, lightweight accessories and garments for you and your child. Almost everything has an intricate lace pattern so if you are sick of chunky knits, you’re in the right place.

Frequently asked questions
Why do you use this yarn?

I believe, as a mother of two boys, that clothing for children should be beautiful, but washable. Yarn is not the easiest thing to care for and can shrink easily. I wanted to use yarns that could be washed easily, without a parent having to worry about it. All yarns used are machine washable. Just please don’t put them in the tumble drier!! Nope.

What is the yarn made from?

All yarn fabric content is stated on each item description so you will know what fibre content you are getting for your particular purchase. For those people allergic to wool, please let me know and I will find a 100% acrylic equivalent for you.

Can I order in cotton?

Yes. Most items are available in a cotton yarn. All you need to do is ask.

Sizing details

All sizes differ from item to item. However, every item has measurements stated. Please check carefully and work with the measurements for you or your child. Adult items are one size fits all unless stated. The only time I would advise buying without knowing the measurements is for an unborn baby. In which case I would advise 0-3 months on wards as newborn can be small on a larger baby.

How will my parcel be sent?

Parcels within the UK are sent First Class Signed for via the Royal Mail.
Parcels outside of the UK are sent International Tracked & Signed via Royal Mail.
Both of these methods are the safest way I can get your parcel to you while keeping costs as low as possible.

Care instructions

All yarn used is machine washable. You will receive a care card with every item which will state how it should be cared for. The majority of items are machine wash at 30°, iron on a cool setting, do not bleach, do not tumble dry.
