Our fabrics are carefully handpicked from local artisans in Lagos, Nigeria, and then used to create one of a kind accessories that allow you to express yourself with bright, bold, & distinctive designs. Ankara prints traditionally have social and economic importance, & rich cultural meaning.

Care instructions

Hand wash separately with mild detergent. Do not machine wash, bleach, or dry clean. Press on reverse (non-printed) side with cool iron. Wax print material softens dramatically over time.

Sizing details

At 72"x22", our headwraps fit heads of ANY SIZE! 😀 That's almost 6ft. x 2ft. (or 2 yards). For smaller heads, you can fold the headwrap in half. Headwraps are versatile, & our headwraps are large enough for you to do as much (or as little) as you want with them

What is Ankara?

Ankara fabrics are vibrant patterns of very rich colorful designs. They are made of 100% cotton or cotton poly material. They are wax resistant dyed fabric that are primarily worn in West Africa. They have a strong cultural, social and economic importance. The fabrics are named based on the patterns, Africans use these bold and vibrant fabrics to tell traditional African tales, a story about an era, festivals etc.

When will you get _______ back in stock?

Due to the nature of our business, our items are limited in quantity and will likely not be restocked. After an item sells out, it is replaced with a new design. Your items are truly one of a kind.
