Mi abuela muy paciente, Ruby, me enseñó a hacer ganchillo cuando era niña. Fue mi mejor amiga durante 30 años. Cuando falleció a los 90 años, el ganchillo fue lo único que me hizo sentir cerca de ella y ese sentimiento continúa hoy. Siempre fue su sueño para mí llevar mis golosinas de ganchillo a los demás y continúo este sueño en su memoria.

I was taught to crochet as a young child by my very patient grandmother, Ruby. She was my best friend for 30 years. When she passed away at 90 years old, crocheting was the one thing that made me feel close to her and that feeling continues today. It was always her dream for me to bring my crocheted goodies to others and I carry on this dream in her memory.
