Costurar e costurar roupas sempre foi algo que minha mãe fazia desde que se lembra. Mamãe começou a costurar camisas e calças para crianças e adultos quando era mais nova (muito mais nova que eu) quando comecei. Atualmente ela costura roupas tradicionais cambojanas para alguns amigos nossos e tira um tempo para trabalhar em RubySway também. Eu mesmo demorei um pouco mais para apreciar a costura e tudo o que vem com ela. Demorou um pouco, mas agora posso dizer que a decisão de assumir a costura é uma que estou feliz por ter escolhido fazer.

Eu não sou o tipo de pessoa "Mantendo-se com os Jones" nem eu sigo as últimas tendências. Eu gosto dos looks clássicos, aqueles que realmente não saem de moda. Pode me chamar de antiquado, mas acho que ser simples vai longe.

Embora eu ainda tenha um pouco para aprender sobre costura e roupas ainda, sou grato a todos aqueles que vieram, pararam e compraram da nossa loja no passado e no futuro. Significa muito para nós que as pessoas lá fora tenham confiança em nós e no que fazemos.

Sewing and tailoring garments was always something my mom did for as long as she can remember. Mum started out hand sewing shirts and pants for children and adults when she was younger (way younger than me) when I started. Currently she sews traditional Cambodian garments for some friends of ours and takes the time to work on RubySway as well. I myself, took a bit longer to appreciate sewing and all that comes with it. It took awhile, but I can now say the decision to take on sewing is one that I'm glad I chose to do.

I'm not the "Keeping up with the Jones' " type of person nor do I follow the latest trends. I like the classic looks, the ones that don't really go out of style. You can call me old fashioned but I really do think keeping it simple does go a long way.

While I still have a bit to learn about sewing and clothing still, I am grateful to all those who have come, stopped by and purchased from our shop in the past and future. It means a lot to us that people out there have a trust in us and what we do.
