Cucire e sartoriare capi è sempre stato qualcosa che mia madre ha fatto per tutto il tempo che può ricordare. La mamma ha iniziato a cucire camicie e pantaloni a mano per bambini e adulti quando era più giovane (molto più giovane di me) quando ho iniziato. Attualmente cuce abiti tradizionali cambogiani per alcuni nostri amici e si prende il tempo di lavorare anche su RubySway. Io stesso, ho impiegato un po 'più di tempo per apprezzare il cucito e tutto ciò che ne deriva. Ci è voluto un po', ma ora posso dire che la decisione di intraprendere il cucito è una decisione che sono felice di aver scelto di fare.

Non sono il tipo di persona "Stare al passo con i Jones" né seguo le ultime tendenze. Mi piacciono i look classici, quelli che non passano di moda. Puoi chiamarmi vecchio stile, ma penso davvero che mantenerlo semplice faccia molta strada.

Mentre ho ancora un po 'da imparare sul cucito e sull'abbigliamento, sono grato a tutti coloro che sono venuti, fermati e acquistati dal nostro negozio in passato e in futuro. Significa molto per noi che le persone là fuori abbiano fiducia in noi e in quello che facciamo.

Sewing and tailoring garments was always something my mom did for as long as she can remember. Mum started out hand sewing shirts and pants for children and adults when she was younger (way younger than me) when I started. Currently she sews traditional Cambodian garments for some friends of ours and takes the time to work on RubySway as well. I myself, took a bit longer to appreciate sewing and all that comes with it. It took awhile, but I can now say the decision to take on sewing is one that I'm glad I chose to do.

I'm not the "Keeping up with the Jones' " type of person nor do I follow the latest trends. I like the classic looks, the ones that don't really go out of style. You can call me old fashioned but I really do think keeping it simple does go a long way.

While I still have a bit to learn about sewing and clothing still, I am grateful to all those who have come, stopped by and purchased from our shop in the past and future. It means a lot to us that people out there have a trust in us and what we do.
