As a studio artist working almost exclusively with repurposed materials in my mixed-media work, I started paying attention to the sheer fabulosity of the vintage pieces I kept running into. I couldn't resist taking them home with me and from that collecting habit came Running Rabbit Vintage.

My art degree is coupled with a minor in cultural anthrology and what better anthropologizes us than our amazing heritage found in wardrobes and closets across the country?

So much of American clothing made from the 30s to the 80s has fabulous fabric and cut and was made for timeless enjoyment. I abosolutely love finding and bringing the best back to life and sending it into the world to live again.

I truly enjoy the research aspect of finding out what exactly it is that I'm sharing with you, I learn something new every single day. Somehow, I'm still finding time to make my own art work too, and that can be found at Matter Gallery in Olympia, WA.

I have recently 'expanded my base' and my lovely assistant Grace is headquartered in Boulder, CO where she has found a whole new rabbit hole to fall down. We hope you love what we find as much as we do!
