Thank you for stopping by Rustic Prairie Cottage! Each item that I create or select for my shop is made for that Shabby and Chic, Cottage Rustic Style home. We also create custom noodle boards and sink covers for your home. We also custom create wooden boxes for Rustic Barn Farm Weddings. My hope is that one of these items will find their way to your heart and home. When I create or upcycle one of these items I do it as if I"m creating it for my home and family. I never really considered my self a 'country girl' however, now that I"m older and hopefully wiser, I see the beautiful simplicity in nature and imperfections. We are all not perfect but we are all beautiful in our own way. And this is what I"ve learned the older I've become and I transfer that into the pieces I create. Items get shipped out 24 - 48 hours after payment has cleared (with the exception of our wood items such as Mantels, shelves, boxes and noodle boards, these are Made to Oder). I usually ship USPS parcel post which usually takes anywhere from 4-7 days to arrive depending on your location. Custom made items such as our mantels get shipped after they are completed which usually takes us 7 business days to complete a mantel.

International Shipments:
Please note that international customers may be charged additional duties and custom fees on your end.

I package items with bubble wrap, newspapers and recycled boxes. I make certain all items are packaged securely. As with my items, I do use recycle packaging materials. I will bubble wrap all breakable items for a secure shipment.
Refunds and Exchanges
My husband and me spend a lot of time, communicating and thought into the creation of each MADE TO ORDER noodle boards / sink covers and wooden boxes. I also take plenty of photos during the creation of each one for the customer to review. All MADE TO ORDER items have a final photo of them so the customer can approve it before shipping. At this time our customers have the opportunity to change anything they would like on the finished product, i.e. distressing, more finish etc. For this reason, we DO NOT accept returns on ANY MADE TO ORDER item. This includes all wooden items such as our sink covers, noodle boards and boxes. I take a great deal of time in taking photos during the creation for our customer to have the opportunity to change the order during the creation process. I send pictures half way through so our customers can see the progress and I also send photos for their approval before an item is shipped. I can not accept a return on a made to order item for this reason I send photos prior to shipment. By purchasing our made to order mantels, shelves, noodle boards and wedding boxes you are agreeing to these terms.

The vintage items I sell are typically in excellent condition. If for some reason there is a defect on them, I will describe it in the listing such as a chip or tear. I do make every effort in describing the items carefully in each listing and taking photos. The items that are recycled or shabby and chic distress are rustic and of course the more imperfections the more beautiful! I do describe what it looks like and take pictures for you to see. These items have definitely more character!

If you run into a problem due to breakage through shipping, please save all packaging materials and contact me and the shipping agent as soon as possible.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact me and we can resolve the situation. Unfortunately, shipping costs are not refundable. In the end, my goal is that you are happy with your purchase.
