RusticTrailCrafts started several years ago around Christmas time. I was in my dad's workshop making handmade gifts for some friends as Christmas gifts. A friend of mine suggested that I start my own business selling these gifts on Etsy. I was a high school senior at the time I started RusticTrailCrafts with the help of my dad. Together, we worked in his workshop and created an efficient and accurate way to make several handmade gift items. I learned a lot about business and manufacturing our first year. In fact, after I graduated high school, I had a summer internship with a local manufacturing company and I would go around the office and talk to VP's and other employees about how a company operates. While talking to them, I would relate and compare my Etsy store with their manufacturing company. I was able to learn more about how companies operate because of my experience having operated RusticTrailCrafts with my dad. It has been a wonderful learning experience having this Etsy store. We're excited to provide unique handmade gifts for those important people in your life.
