I was about to give up on my sourdough starter! I just couldn’t get the temperature warm enough for it. I tried the light in the oven trick. Just dried it out. But I had a thought! The starter is living breathing critters and just maybe they generated a bit of heat energy while reproducing. I wrapped the jar with tinfoil and it helped a bit. Then I thought a felt “warmer”? So I started looking for something just the right size. Felt bowls popped up. After searching forever this blue and yellow one came up. My kitchen is yellow and blue. The measurements seemed spot on. I bought it. Arrived super fast! Fit my Weck jar perfectly! Most important is it worked like a charm! I’m making the tastiest bread now! I’m beyond happy with this wee bowl. It’s awesome!
